Welcome to this Affirmation Meditation for the Yule Season.
Yule,
Or the Winter Solstice,
Is a doorway into wisdom,
Reflection and quiet transformation.
The night of the Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year and marks the moment when the sun begins its gentle return.
With this meditation,
I invite you to slow down and allow the darkness of this season guide you inward,
Surrendering to this fertile,
Liminal space to listen and to reflect on your dreams and visions for the year to come.
Find a comfortable position that feels support for you right now.
You may be seated on the floor or on cushions,
Feeling the ground with your hands.
You may be seated on a chair,
Feeling the earth beneath your feet,
Or lying down,
Feeling your body fully supported by earth beneath you.
Allow yourself to fully arrive in this space.
Let yourself to settle into the stillness and darkness of this season.
And if you feel comfortable,
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze and arrive in this present moment.
Take a deep,
Cleansing breath,
Inhaling fully.
Notice where you are in your body,
In your breath,
In this moment of pause.
And now,
Repeat after me,
Silently or out loud,
The following affirmations.
I allow myself to slow down and arrive fully in this moment.

I honor what has supported me along my path.
I gently let go of what no longer serves me.
