Inviting the Pause Welcome to Invite the Pause Meditation.
This is a moment to invite stillness and check in with yourself.
Start by finding a quiet space and arriving into your comfortable shape.
Find a position that supports your body in this present moment.
Do you feel like lying down,
Feeling the support of the floor,
Mat or bed underneath the length of your body?
Or would you like to find a comfortable seat?
Maybe you would like to prop yourself up with cushions and pillows.
Take a deep inhaling through the nose.
And a soft exhaling through the mouth.
Roll your shoulders.
Feel the alignment along your hips,
Heart and head.
And if you feel comfortable and safe,
Close your eyes or invite a soft gaze and bring your hands onto your heart.
Start bringing awareness into your breath.
Note every inhalation and every exhalation.
Just pause it here.
Allow your body to feel this moment.
Allow every inhalation to invite new energy into your body.
And every exhalation releasing tension and blockages.
Gently bring your eyes open,
Welcoming the present moment.
Bring this sense of renewal and deeper connection with you.
You may return to this meditation anytime you need to take pause and reconnect with yourself.
