Waiting always has a wonderful center attached to it.
It doesn't always feel wonderful,
Especially the longer it lingers on,
Whether it's patience or faith or discovery,
Yours or the others involved,
Seen and unseen.
In this waiting is a wonderful center waiting on you for just the precise time to ripen,
To open,
To be consumed,
Enjoyed.
And you cannot plow your way through to it,
Ripping away layers to accelerate.
Well you can try at least.
You could absolutely succeed in ripping away at layers.
You'll feel productive,
Making progress,
Mocking who needs to wait on this time for a time until you realize how bloodied and scarred you are and those around you and the protective layers that are there to keep you safe and the promise at the center are now shredded in tatters from premature acceleration.
There are times to accelerate.
There are times to slow down and to be absolutely still,
Waiting.
When it's time,
You'll peel instead of plow away the layers.
If they do not fall away on their own,
They'll mature and fall away.
Simply fall away.
You'll get to the center.
If it does not move itself to meet you where you met,
Because what you seek is also seeking you.
It may pull you to it and you'll find yourself effortlessly riding the waves of momentum,
Of timing,
Of providence,
Of yeah,
This is it.
Quantum leaping forward,
Tempting you to say,
Maybe scream,
Wait,
Hold up,
Let me catch my breath,
Until you remember how long you've been waiting.
And instead you keep that temptation to yourself.
Scream if you have to,
To let out the anxiety and all the rest of built-up impatience from the time past,
Which morphs now into an ecstatic grin for what's to come,
More of what's to come,
For what's right now.
You hold on to stay on this thrilling,
Invigorating,
Wild ride and realize,
Affirm,
You would have had it no other way.
Close your eyes now.
Drop in to that familiar place of connection,
Of restoration,
Sustenance.
If you haven't already,
Bring to mind what's stuck.
Shift it to the seems-like stuck area.
Be in the space left from the shift,
An empty space.
The one that you can mold and shape now into whatever you want.
Need it to be.
Breathe into it.
Release from it.
Be in it for a bit.
Give some gratitude.
Mark this time.
What are you taking with you from it?
Seal it and walk away.
