And welcome to your guided meditation for releasing resistance and inviting peace into your experience.
Find a comfortable position.
Gently soften or close your eyes,
And take a deep breath in,
Now sigh it out.
Another deep breath in through your nose,
And sigh it all out.
One more deep breath in together,
And your biggest exhale yet,
Ahhhhhh.
Now begin to breathe normally.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest and belly with each breath.
Imagine you are inhaling calm and exhaling tension.
All of that resistance is dissipating with each breath.
Now repeat silently or aloud after me.
I know this current situation is temporary.
I trust the universe and its ability to provide for me.
I am open and receptive to positive change.
I let go of any doubts and fears as they do not serve me.
I trust in the flow of life.
I believe everything is always working out for me.
Now visualize yourself stepping next to a beautiful,
Serene river flowing effortlessly.
You see yourself there,
Standing by the riverbank,
Luxuriating in the peace and tranquility that it brings to your heart.
As you watch the water flowing,
You know that this represents the flow of life,
Always moving forward,
Always moving in your favor.
As you continue to breathe,
The resistance and negativity is floating away.
Now imagine any residual resistance as a dry leaf upon the surface of the river.
It is now being swept into the current and carried away on the surface of the river.
It is floating away and now is out of sight.
Each piece of resistance that you are feeling is simply a leaf upon the surface of the river.
Any resistance towards lack is floating away.
A toxic relationship is now off into the distance.
Comparisons that you are drawing about where you are in life is now down a river.
Together we will seal in this newfound peace with one deep breath in and a sigh it out.
