Hello and welcome to a meditation centered around aligning with your future most ideal self.
To start this meditation allow yourself to find a comfortable seat.
You might choose to lie down,
You might choose to sit with support against your back.
Wherever you land just make sure that the body is not a distraction,
That you are comfortable and that your breath can come and go with ease.
Start by taking a deep inhale in drawing the breath all the way down to the diaphragm filling up through the lungs filling up even through the throat.
And on an exhale release that breath drawing the navel in to push out that last bit of stale air.
Let's do one more of those breaths.
Inhaling fully and exhaling to release.
Let the breath return to a more natural rhythm and then take the next couple moments to simply observe the bounds of this physical body.
In your mind hold the image of you seated here in this shape whatever it might be and try to just feel the edges feel the surface of the skin not in any one particular place but as a whole.
We can begin to draw awareness inward by turning the attention back to the breath and within the mind's eye bring to the surface an image of you in the future.
Imagine if everything goes in a way that would be good.
What is the best possible outcome for who you might be?
We don't need to assign labels to that person but picture this person in your mind and they're smiling they look happy they look fulfilled they look content with the way that their life is going.
Notice the energy that they emit.
What sense do you gain by observing this person?
What do you feel emanating from them by just being in their presence witnessing as they stand there?
Invite in a feeling of love of compassion of gratitude for this person but also that this person holds for you because it is you who has evolved into this person and they feel that gratitude toward you for being the starting point and as you continue to stand in this person's presence I invite you to consider that there is always the opportunity to show up as this person in any choice throughout the day the weeks the months through any choice we have the opportunity to bring this person to mind and to ask ourselves what would they do in this moment what would they choose which choice is most aligned with this most ideal with this highest version of myself and all we need to do to be that person to embody that character that energy is to make the choice they would make and in this way bit by bit we bring that person to life and we begin to embody the highest version of ourselves so if you have a decision an experience a situation that is causing some tension in your life bring it to mind very gently in this moment it doesn't need to be a negative thing it can be an exciting thing too or it can be something that's really quite neutral but just choose one thing whether it be a relationship a decision something happening at work or at home or maybe entirely within you and ask yourself how would this future how would this highest version of me respond you might allow the scene to play out for a moment in your mind you can just sit with that feeling that emerges of seeing this ideal version of you and of recognizing that that person exists already within you if you can think it you can choose it you can be it this would be a great opportunity to even invite a small smile onto the face we can even orient the palms facing up in this way inviting the energy that receptive feeling back into the self from the self you can begin to draw the energy upward by finding the breath once more observing the inhale observing the exhale and finally we can zoom out yet another layer again find the bounds of the physical body feel the experience of this body as a whole and as you feel ready you can begin to crack open the eyes maybe taking a couple intentional breaths maybe inviting in some wiggles moves as you prepare to step out into your day with the gentlest reminder that the highest and most ideal version of you already lives within you waiting to come forward at any moment thank you
