Let's begin by finding a comfortable position.
You can lie down or sit upright.
Allow your arms to rest in your lap or by your side.
When you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Release your tongue from the roof of your mouth and relax your jaw.
Raise your eyebrows up to your hairline and release them softly.
Rise your shoulders up,
Roll them behind your back and drop them down gently and away from your ears.
Bring a gentle smile to your face and imagine your heart smiling back at you,
Thanking you for taking out time to care for yourself.
Allow your mind and body to become still.
Bring awareness to your breath.
Take a deep breath in and release it fully.
Follow your breath as it flows in and out of your body without any judgment.
Try not to criticize yourself for your breathing or for any thoughts that may arise.
Let's begin our self-love body scan.
For this practice,
You're going to imagine a radiant green light traveling throughout your body.
This light is intended to clear,
Cleanse and calm every part of your body to help you start your day.
To think positive,
To hold love for yourself and to have gratitude.
Visualize this radiant green light at the top of your head.
As it moves from right to left,
Washing away thoughts and worries,
It eases your mind.
This green light makes its way down to your face and it relaxes your forehead,
Your eyes,
Cheeks and mouth.
It brings a smile to your beautiful face.
This radiant green light continues down to your throat,
Easing tightness.
It travels from your throat down to your chest,
Bringing warmth,
Love and acceptance to your heart.
This green light moves from your chest down to your arms,
Relaxing every joint.
It reaches your fingertips,
Bringing tenderness and love.
The green light travels up your arms and back into your chest and down to the center of your stomach,
Soothing your abdomen.
Let this healing light move from your abdomen down to your legs,
Easing any pain or tightness.
This green light finally envelops your feet with its comforting glow.
Allow the green radiant light to travel from your toes to your heart.
As it reaches its destination,
It expresses gratitude by silently saying,
Thank you heart for being alive and well.
This green light slowly dissipates throughout your body,
Giving you the energy,
Love and light for your day ahead.
Feel every particle of this green radiant light in every corner of your body.
Feel it spread positive energy,
Self-love,
Acceptance and gratitude.
Take a deep breath in with love for yourself and exhale with gratitude for yourself.
When you're ready,
Bring awareness to your fingertips and your toes and wiggle them gently.
Slowly open up your eyes and take a moment to become aware of the room you're in.
Observe your breath.
Observe how you feel.
You may feel full of positive energy,
Self-love and gratitude.
