You made it through the day and you found time to care for yourself.

Find a comfortable position lying on your back,

Allowing your body to sink into the surface you're on.

Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in through your nose,

Feeling your chest and abdomen rise.

Exhale slowly through your mouth,

Releasing any tension from the day.

Bring awareness to your body.

Begin with your toes and your feet and with each breath,

Feel them relax and soften.

Move up to your calves and your thighs,

Letting go of any tightness or discomfort.

Allow this wave of relaxation to continue through your hips,

Abdomen,

Chest and shoulders.

Bring to mind a challenging moment from your day.

Without judgment,

Acknowledge any emotions that arise.

Repeat to yourself silently or aloud,

I am human,

I am allowed to have challenging days.

I gave today my all.

Now visualize yourself wrapping your arms around your inner self,

Offering comfort and understanding.

Breathe in gratitude for this positive experience.

And with each exhale,

Allow this gratitude to fill your entire being with warmth and peace.

Release any lingering thoughts or worries about tomorrow.

Visualize placing them in a soft glowing bubble above your head and watch as this bubble gently floats away into the night sky,
