Welcome.
Sitting in a comfortable seat,
Laying down,
Kneeling,
Cross legged.
Take whatever posture feels comfortable for you today and softly close the eyes.
Focus on the breath only.
Take a long inhale through the nose and a long exhale through the mouth.
Again inhale through the nose.
Slowly exhale through the mouth.
One more inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Now change the breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.
Remembering that thoughts are a part of meditation.
They are okay.
We acknowledge these thoughts with an open mind and an open heart and we allow them to drift away.
Tuning in to the body.
How does it feel today?
Today I want to remind you of your purpose.
As we navigate through life we can often become lost.
Especially at the moment with the world the way it is.
Some days we may find ourselves not quite understanding where it is that we want to end up.
We may feel lost,
Confused,
Uneasy,
Unsettled,
Anxious.
And yes having career goals,
Life goals are fantastic and I encourage all of this.
However what if I were to tell you that your purpose was to simply be.
To live.
To navigate through each day just being you.
Just being happy.
Sometimes when we get wrapped up in life we forget to live.
Sometimes we are led to believe that our life's purpose is our job,
Our career,
A relationship,
Socialising.
However if you take away all of that what is left?
You are left.
You and your beating heart before anything else is added.
You are your purpose.
You live today and the next day and the next day and so on for you.
You show up for you.
I invite you to think and be reminded that you are your purpose.
Bringing awareness back to the breath if the mind has wandered.
And on your next exhale slowly open the eyes and take moments to come back into the physical space.
And I invite you to smile.
You are enough.
You are your power and you are your purpose.
