Humans are a herd species.
Our most deepest and primal needs are rooted to a desire to be accepted,
To belong,
And to embody the feeling of worthiness,
Of value,
Of being enough.
In this practice,
I invite you to join the company of others whom you trust or share a common bond with.
You're welcome to do this practice alone and bring to mind a friend,
A loved one,
A beloved pet,
Or even consider your own reflection.
When you are ready,
Please offer the following intentions to your chosen recipient by repeating these words.
May you be seen,
Heard,
And supported.
May you know you are enough just as you are.
May you be safe and blanketed in peace and happiness.
May you be held in loving kindness.
I invite you to offer these very same intentions to yourself,
To all parts of you,
The protector parts,
And the inner child or the exile that they are guardian to.
Please repeat the following words connecting to the feeling generated in your connection to a loved one.
May I be seen,
Heard,
And supported.
May I know I am enough just as I am.
May I be safe and blanketed in peace and happiness.
May I be held in loving kindness.
I invite you now to stand collectively in the presence of your loved one,
Of all parts of yourself,
And with all beings in the universe.
Offer this global intention to humanity and all beings.
May we be seen,
Heard,
And supported.
May we know we are enough just as we are.
May we be safe and blanketed in peace and happiness.
May we be held in loving kindness.
We will end this practice in proclaiming the following statement.
Repeat or say these words to yourself.
Begin with a deep cleansing breath.
It is safe for me to embrace and transcend the responsibilities and consequences that may arise from a fuller embodiment of my true self.
Release with another cleansing breath,
Expanding the exhale if that feels good for you.
