Lição 1
Acceptance
In today's lesson we come to understand that in order to move forward in a healthy way we must gently explore acceptance of the reality of our loss. Together, we will test the waters of our commitment to our own healing journey. Today's yoga pose is a gentle seated pose: Sukhasana.
Lição 2
Connection To Spirit
Although grief affects our physical, emotional and mental bodies, grief is a sacred spiritual journey as well. In this lesson, we will take a look at our past and present connection to our spiritual nature. We will delve into exploration of the possibility of leaning on our higher power for healing and awakening. Today we will be assuming a standing position in the pose: Tadasana (mountain pose).
Lição 3
Grace & Gratitude
As we travel this path of grief we might notice grace showing up in our lives in miraculous ways. In this lesson, we look deeply at the mystery of grace and look to harness opportunities to cultivate gratitude. Today, we will be undertaking a seated position in 'Butterfly pose' (Baddha Konasana).
Lição 4
Time Out
Sometimes we just need a 'time out'. When we are dealing with the stress of grief and loss, self care is self preservation. What do you need right now and how can you give that gift to yourself? Let us put ourselves first. Today's yoga pose is a restorative forward fold.
Lição 5
Surrender
It is natural for us to want to hold on, grip and control when faced with great loss. But, ironically, it’s in the surrender that we find the grace to move forward in our grief. In this lesson, we explore the powerful experience of surrendering to and even and welcoming what is. Today we will assume a pose of deep surrender: Child's pose.
Lição 6
Finding And Following Your Bliss
When we are grieving we can lose touch with that which brings us joy. In this lesson, we will look for more ways to bring joy into our lives and find the healing that we seek. Today's suggested yoga pose is: Happy baby.
Lição 7
Balance
Grief can weigh us down with it’s heaviness. It’s a challenge to find balance when we lose someone we love. In this lesson, we explore the meaning and importance of balance for our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual, health and wellness. Today's suggested yoga pose is: Tree pose.
Lição 8
Reaching Out
It can be healing to reach out to someone for help in our grief. It can also be healing to reach out to someone in compassion. In this lesson, we will explore the possibility that with our newfound wisdom, we might be ready to be of service to others. Today's suggested yoga pose is: Chair pose.
Lição 9
Peace With Death
Fear of death is the big elephant in the room. How do our attitudes around death affect our grieving process? How can we have a healthier relationship with death in general? Today, we make peace with death and attempt to overcome longstanding beliefs from childhood, that may not serve our happiness. Today's suggested pose is: Shavasana.
Lição 10
Awakening Through Reflection
In today's lesson, we explore the notion of awakening, through deep and contemplative reflection. We will acknowledge and appreciate the sacred, beautiful, and never ending essence that we all hold within us. We may choose to ask questions such as: What have you learned through this process of deep exploration? How have you changed? Will you share your own healing journey with others? The suggested yoga pose for today's practice is: Goddess pose.

The visualizations in this course are so touching and Connie’s voice is very comforting and her words are genuine. In my recent experience I have been lead to truly believe there is nothing more painful than grief and loss. This course helped me to accept that the grieving process cannot be rushed, as painful and prolonged as it is. Thank you Connie.
