Transcript

Begin by settling into a comfortable position and gently close your eyes or lower your gaze and allow your body to be supported by the surface beneath you.

There is nowhere else you need to be right now,

Nothing else you need to do.

And bringing your attention into your breath,

Not changing it,

Just noticing it.

Inhaling slowly through the nose and exhale softly through the mouth.

Again,

Breathing in and breathing out.

And with each breath,

Feel yourself arriving more fully into this moment.

Feel the weight of your body being held by the surface beneath you.

This is a time for reflection,

A time to pause,

To acknowledge the journey of your week,

Your month,

Your year,

Your life.

To honour what is past and to gently invite what is coming.

Know that while you are here,

It is safe to let go of anything that feels heavy.

It is safe to soften.

It is safe to rest.

Imagine roots growing from the base of your spine,

Moving down through your legs and into the soles of your feet,

Gently extending into the earth.

And these roots anchor you,

They hold you and they connect you to your inner strength and wisdom.

And now I invite in the energy of Reiki.

You do not need to force or imagine anything strongly here.

Just simply set the intention to receive this gentle yet powerful energy.

Imagine a soft white light flowing in through the crown of your head.

And this light knows exactly where to go.

Allow it to move with ease slowly throughout your body.

And bring your awareness to the top of your head and your forehead,

Allowing the muscles around your eyes to soften.

And clench the jaw.

Let the tongue rest easily in the mouth.

And as the Reiki energy flows into the throat,

Feel space opening for honest expression and gentle release of any stuck energy.

And let the light move into your shoulders now.

Invite your shoulders to drop,

To soften,

To be relieved of what they no longer need to carry.

And allow the energy to flow down the arms,

Through the elbows,

Wrists,

Palms and fingertips.

Let your hands rest now.

Bring your attention to your heart space,

The centre of your chest.

Notice how your heart feels today.

Allow yourself to breathe into it.

And reflecting gently on your experiences,

Moments of joy,

Moments of challenge,

Things you gained,

Things you released or let go of.

And acknowledge yourself for all that you have moved through.

For the ways you showed up.

For the ways you survived.

And for the ways you grew,

Even when it was uncomfortable.

And if anything feels heavy here,

Imagine placing a gentle hand on your shoulder.

And let the light flow gently into the earth.

The earth can take what you no longer need.

And allow the Reiki energy now to continue to flow down into your solar plexus,

Your belly,

The centre of intuition and inner fire.

And allow your belly to soften.

Let go of holding.

Let go of control.

And bring your awareness to your hips and pelvis.

And invite in a sense of safety and stability here.

And the energy continues down your thighs,

Knees,

Calves,

Ankles and feet,

All the way to the soles of the feet.

Feel yourself fully grounded,

Fully present.

Now gently imagine a light within you,

A soft steady glow.

This light represents your inner guidance,

Your intentions and your potential.

You do not need to name them yet,

Just know that they are there,

Growing slowly,

Naturally and in their own time.

And as you rest here,

Simply receive the Reiki energy and your own inner light.

There's nothing you need to do,

Nothing you need to fix.

Simply be.

And when you are ready,

Begin to deepen and lengthen your breath.

Gently bring awareness back to the body,

To the space around you.

And slowly wiggle the fingers and toes.

And when you are ready,

Softly open the eyes,

Or maybe you wish to remain here a little longer.

And just carry this sense of calm,

Reflection and inner light with you as you move forward.
