Take a moment to settle in,
Finding a comfortable position and allowing your body to begin to relax.
Gently close your eyes and take a slow,
Long,
Relaxed breath in and then exhale,
Releasing any tension.
Again,
Inhale slowly and deeply and exhale,
Letting go of anything you don't need right now.
Feel the breath moving through your body and as you exhale,
Letting go of any stress or tension that might be lingering.
With each breath,
Feel yourself sinking deeper into comfort,
Allowing your body to soften and allowing your mind to soften.
Now bring your awareness to the weight of your body resting on the surface beneath you.
Notice the points of contact,
Your back against the surface beneath you,
The heaviness of your arms and legs as they rest and let go.
There's nothing you need to do right now,
Nowhere you need to be.
Now gently shift your attention to your forehead.
Notice if there's any tension there and as you breathe,
Begin to let your forehead soften.
And let that softness begin to move down now into your jaw,
Down into your shoulders,
Your arms.
Feeling a sense of lightness appear in the body as you begin to let go.
With each breath,
This relaxation flows deeper down into your chest,
Down your spine,
Into your hips and legs,
All the way down to your feet.
And letting yourself settle into this feeling of ease.
And now imagine a gentle warmth surrounding you,
Like a soft,
Comforting presence that allows you to relax even more.
And with every inhale,
You're drawing in calm,
Steady energy.
And with every exhale,
You're releasing anything heavy or distracting.
Your breath is steady.
Your mind is calm.
And your body is at ease.
And really rest in this stillness,
Allowing yourself to be open and receptive to this relaxation.
And now slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the space around you.
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Maybe roll your shoulders or stretch if that feels good to you.
And take one more deep,
Nourishing breath in.
And a slow exhale out.
Thank you for sharing this moment of stillness.
I hope that you feel more grounded,
More connected and more at peace.
I look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
Until then,
Be gentle with yourself and take care.
