Welcome.

Finding a comfortable position.

Sinking deeper into the surface beneath you.

With your eyes closed or open,

Beginning to notice the details of the space you are in.

The temperature of the room,

The sounds,

The way the surface feels beneath your body.

Becoming aware and welcoming into your meditation whatever might be present in this moment.

Taking a deep nourishing inhale and a wholesome exhale.

Taking another deep nourishing inhale and with your exhale allowing yourself to have a gentle smile.

Noticing how it feels to smile.

How with your smile brings the softening of your cheeks,

The easing of your eyes,

The unclenching of your jaw.

Noticing the shift that becomes present in your body and mind with the small act.

As you sit here with a soft smile,

Can you imagine you are being embraced by a warm radiant light.

Feeling your body with safety,

Security,

Love and acceptance.

You can bring gentle movement back into your body,

Carrying the center and outer smile that you have cultivated with you for the remainder of the day.
