Transcript

Set yourself up into a comfortable seated or lying down position.

Adjust the body so you feel at ease and relaxed.

And if it feels comfortable,

You can close down the eyes.

Take a big inhale and as you exhale,

Feel your whole body relax.

Another deep breath in through your nose and a long exhale through your nose.

Continue with long and full breaths and take a moment to ask within what part of yourself could use some healing right now.

Perhaps somewhere in your body,

Something in your mind or your heart.

What would you like to bring healing to now?

And now set that intention and dedicate this practice to bringing healing to that aspect of you or your life.

Breathing in,

Know that an immense healing power lives in you and breathing out,

Set the intention to awaken this healing potential.

Remember that you are a being of nature and like all of creation,

There's an intelligence,

A resilience that lives in you.

Your body,

Your mind,

Your heart hold profound and unlimited capacity to heal,

Restore and to find balance.

It all begins with your intention and connection to this healing power within you.

So take a deep nourishing inhale and a long exhale,

Trusting in this knowing.

So let's awaken this intention of healing by bringing our awareness throughout different parts of the body.

We'll move quickly from one part to another.

Simply bring your attention to each part,

Feeling or imagining as though through your awareness itself is awakening healing.

You can either feel into the sensations of each part of the body or visualize a white healing light shining in each place as you bring your attention there.

So let's begin.

Bring your awareness to your right hand,

The right wrist,

The right elbow,

Right shoulder,

Right armpit,

Right side of the waist,

Right hip,

Right knee,

Right ankle,

The right foot.

Bring awareness to the left hand,

The left wrist,

Left elbow,

Left shoulder,

Left armpit,

The left side of the waist,

Left hip,

Left knee,

Left ankle,

The left foot.

Bring awareness to the base of the spine,

The tailbone,

The lower belly,

The navel center,

The heart center,

The center of the throat,

The space between the eyebrows,

The crown of the head.

And now bring your awareness to the rise and fall of your breathing and deepening the breath.

Start to breathe from belly to throat and throat to belly.

Inhale fill the belly,

Then the chest,

Then the throat and exhale empty the throat,

Then the chest,

Then the belly.

Inhale fill the belly,

The chest,

The throat and exhale empty the throat,

The chest,

The belly.

Exhale fill the belly,

Chest,

Throat,

Exhale empty the throat,

Chest,

Belly.

Continue to breathe at your own pace from belly to throat,

Throat to belly.

And with the power of intention or imagination,

Feel as though each breath is a breath of energy,

A healing energy within you.

You might visualize this energy as a white radiant light or feel it as a sensation of energy moving through your body with each breath.

As you inhale,

Feel or imagine this energy wash up and through you from the tips of your toes through to the crown of your head.

And as you exhale,

Feel this energy wash back down over you from head to toe.

Continue to feel or watch these healing waves of breath flowing through you.

And if there's a particular place within you where you may be holding onto stress,

Tension or stagnant energy,

Imagine breathing this healing energy or sending this bright white light into that area of pain or tension.

Imagine filling up with this healing energy as you inhale and as you exhale,

Imagine sending this energy into the part of you that could use some healing now.

Inhaling bright white light fills the body,

Exhaling shining this light into any hidden corners of tension.

Now take a few more deep breaths.

Imagine filling your entire body with this white healing light.

Feel your entire being full,

Vibrant and enlivened with this healing energy.

Remember that this innate intelligence,

This healing power lives within you in every moment.

It lives in you as breath,

As the brilliance of your body,

The resilience of your heart,

The intelligence in your cells and the wisdom of your soul.

It simply requires your intention,

Your trust and your commitment to awakening it and your openness to receiving it.

So take a moment now to notice how you feel.

And may you carry this positive intention and healing energy with you to inspire the remaining moments of your day.
