Focus on the moment and take a few deep,
Cleansing breaths.
You can find the gentle,
Easy rhythm of your breathing as you relax and let go.
Focus on inhaling and exhaling for a moment,
Feeling the sensations of your breath,
Listening to the sound of the inhale and exhale.
As you breathe in,
Think the word more.
As you breathe out,
Think love.
Breathe in and think more.
Breathe out and say love.

Now scan the body,
Noticing any tension anywhere,
And relaxing it.
Maybe there's some tension in the shoulder and neck,
Or the stomach.
Maybe the muscles along the spine.
If you find any tension anywhere,
You can simply intend to relax,
Soften the muscles,
And let go.
Tension is the body's way of attempting to protect you.
So wherever you happen to notice it,
Say to that part of your body,
Thank you.
