So making sure you are comfortable sitting or lying down.
Gently close your eyes and bring your attention to your breathing.
We're going to start by taking three deep breaths.
This will help to release any stagnant energy from your sleep and dreams.
Take a deep breath in and exhale.
Take another deep breath in and exhale.
Taking in one more deep breath,
Holding it at the top and gently exhale completely.
We are going to do a quick body scan just to make sure there is no tension and that your muscles are relaxed.
Bringing your awareness to the top of your body,
Relaxing your forehead,
Relaxing your eyes and relaxing your jaw.
Relaxing your shoulders,
Making sure they're down from your ears.
Relaxing your arms,
Your hands and relaxing your fingers.
Now relaxing your back,
Your torso and your hips.
Relaxing your thighs,
Relaxing your calves,
Relaxing your ankles,
Your feet and relaxing your toes.
Take a deep breath in and gently exhale.
Now letting your breathing go back to its natural rhythm and if any time your mind begins to wander,
Know that that is perfectly okay.
Just bring your awareness back to your breathing.
Now I am going to say some affirmations.
You can either let these affirmations wash over you.
You could say them silently or you can say them out loud.
Today is a good day.
I am happy,
Strong and positive.
I am excited to wake up on this new day and I will experience this beautiful life with happiness in my heart.
I am and always will be good enough,
Smart enough and strong enough.
I reject all negative feelings about myself and my life and I consciously accept all that is good.
Today I choose to think positively and I create an amazing and successful life for myself.
I am happy and content with my life and grateful for all that I have.
My thoughts do not control me.
I control my thoughts and today my thoughts will be free,
Happy and positive.
I am courageous.
I am confident.
I am worthy.
I like who I am.
I banish all self-doubt from my mind and I embrace hope,
Optimism and compassion.
Today I abandon all my old negative habits and will passionately take up new more positive ones in their place.
