Hello there,

Friends!

It's time to get cozy and ready for bed.

Go ahead and grab your special friend.

Maybe it's your favorite stuffed animal,

A cozy blanket,

Or a toy that makes you smile.

Now snuggle into your bed and get nice and comfortable.

Wiggle around a little until you find just the right spot.

Now it's time to let your body rest.

Lay your head gently on your pillow.

Take a slow deep breath in and blow it out like you're sending a feather floating into the air.

Let's help your whole body get cozy and calm from the very top of your head all the way down to your toes.

We're going to squeeze first and then let go.

Ready?

Let's start with your face.

Squeeze your face up like you just bit into a sour lemon.

Tight,

Tight,

Tight,

And now let go.

Soft like whipped cream on a cupcake.

Now lift your shoulders up like you're trying to touch your ears.

Hold them there.

Up,

Up,

Up.

Now let them drop down like melting ice cream.

So soft.

Let's move to your arms.

Stretch your arms out long like a sleepy cat.

Reach,

Reach,

Reach,

Reach,

And now let them fall gently to your sides,

Floppy like noodles.

Now your hands.

Pretend you're catching stars in your hands.

Hold them tight.

Tight,

Tight,

Tight.

Now gently open your fingers and let the stars twinkle away.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Feel your tummy go up and down like a balloon filling with air and then relax.

Now let's move to your legs.

Squeeze your legs together like you're holding a big beach ball.

Tight,

Tight,

Tight,

And now let the ball go and relax your legs like fluffy marshmallows.

Now your toes.

Tighten them like you're grabbing sand with your feet.

Hold it,

And now let the sand go.

Relax and be still.

Now take one more breath in and let it all out the side.

Your whole body is soft,

Warm,

And peaceful,

Just like you.

Now that your body is cozy and relaxed,

Imagine you're floating on a big fluffy cloud.

It's the softest cloud you've ever felt,

Like a pillow made just for you.

And above you stars twinkle in the night sky.

A gentle breeze sways your cloud as it floats slowly and peacefully.

And if any thoughts pop into your head,

Imagine placing them on a tiny cloud and watching them float away.

Your cloud carries you safely towards dreamland.

You're relaxed and safe.

Now let's count down from 10 to 1.

With every number,

You'll feel sleepier and sleepier.
