Welcome to this episode of Light Leaders Ascension School.

I'm Athena Bailey and I'm so excited today because I'm going to be sharing with you all things channeling,

Everything you need to know,

A deep dive,

Masterclass,

Everything from the types of channeling,

To how we channel,

To who we channel,

To what happens when we channel,

All things channeling we are going to cover with you today.

I'm going to be sharing a lot of information so just know some of it will actually be processing energetically and subconsciously for you too.

We're just going to trust that whatever needs to land for you the most today is going to today.

So let's get straight into it because I have a lot that I want to cover and share with you because channeling is my thing,

Right?

If I think about everything in my life,

Everything I do,

Above all I see myself as a channeler.

It's what,

You know,

People say,

What do you do?

It's like I'm a channel.

Like even though I do a lot of different things and I teach a lot of different things,

At the end of the day what I do the most,

What I love the most,

What I consider the most important thing is channeling.

If you talk about business I'm like,

Well what's the most important part of business?

Channeling.

What's the most important part of life?

Channeling.

What's the most important part of relationship?

Channeling.

Channeling is the most important thing for me in my life because without that connection,

And not just the connection to Spirit Guys,

But being able to have those communications and conversations,

I wouldn't have anything that I have in my life today.

I would have never met my husband in the way that we did.

I never would have been,

Even though I was like,

Oh no we won't meet up,

And Spirit was like,

Go meet up,

Never would have had that experience.

I never would have done the things I did in my business.

I never would have channeled the ISIS car program,

Which is completely channeled.

I never would have started Light Leaders Ascension School,

Which my Spirit Guides were like,

Okay Athena,

You need to start this.

It's like every single area of my life has become what it has because of my ability to channel.

I think it is the most important thing that a person can learn,

Honestly.

I actually think like,

If there's one skill you learn,

It's to channel because it opens a door for absolutely everything else.

Whether you're like,

I want to know my soul purpose,

Great,

Learn to channel.

I want to grow my business,

Great,

Learn to channel.

I want to make my soulmate,

Great,

Learn to channel.

I want to heal my shit,

Great,

Learn to channel.

If there was one magic bullet,

I'd be like,

It's channeling.

It is,

In my opinion,

The absolute most important thing for you to be able to know how to do because what we're doing is we are getting information from the higher realms,

Right?

So you have this beautiful spiritual team.

We covered it in detail in episode two.

So I'm not going to go into your whole entire spiritual team in this episode,

But if you want to know who's on there,

Where we go into it in a lot of detail.

You have this beautiful spiritual team of guides,

Beings who are assigned to work with you,

Contracted to work with you,

Who are focused on you,

Who love you unconditionally,

Who have information and insight that you do not,

Right?

They can see from the higher realms what is aligned for you,

What is not.

And so when,

If you're waking up every day and you're saying,

Okay,

Spirit guides,

What's my soul purpose?

How can I fulfill what I'm meant to?

How can I live the life that I'm meant to here today?

How can I help humanity today?

And you're asking,

You're leading these questions and you're getting the guidance and the insight.

It's going to completely change your life because you're not throwing spaghetti at the wall going,

Well,

What's going to work?

Like,

How can I figure life out?

Maybe I'll try this career.

Maybe I'll do this thing.

No,

You're on the path that was meant for you.

I also believe it's the number one thing in success,

Like to create success.

And I don't just mean success financially,

But holistic success.

So that also includes not only financial,

But loving what you do.

And it is the most important thing.

As channelers,

What we're doing,

We're energy translators,

Right?

So when I connect to a being in the higher realms,

Right?

Cause we're also working dimensionally.

I'm connecting to beings from a higher dimension who are of course of the light,

Serving the light only.

We're connecting to higher beings of light and we're receiving energy from them that then we translate.

Majority of channels translate into words.

However,

You can translate into art,

Into automatic writing,

Into light language,

Into energy frequencies.

There are so many different ways that you can translate that.

We've had people go through Channeling Spirit Academy,

Who are now artists,

Like language artists.

We've had quite a few artists actually come through and share their work,

People who are healers,

People.

One of the really cool things that I've seen in Channeling Spirit Academy is a lot of people go on to channel their own modality,

That they're here to bring through,

But they needed to activate and turn on their channel to be able to channel it through.

Like I channeled through the ISIS car practitioner program,

Right?

So we've had students come through who have learned how to channel.

I'll give you an example.

One of my students and clients,

Natalie Patterson,

Who created the Light Codes program.

She came through Channeling Spirit Academy and we actually helped her channel and create this program that she has done,

Which is a healing program,

Right?

So we have seen people come through,

And she's not the only one.

We've seen people come through and channel their own modality that was always meant to birth through them,

But they just needed to turn on that switch to be able to bring it through.

So I'm very passionate about this because I have seen how much it changes people's lives to be able to channel and how much it has changed my life.

I think it is ultimately the bridge that gets us into higher realms.

So we are these energy translators and we're connecting to a non-human consciousness,

Right?

A high consciousness that we're receiving energy from.

The energy is information.

That's what light is.

Light is information.

So we're receiving that,

We're translating it through our voice,

Into song,

Light language,

Art,

Frequencies,

However we need it,

Right?

At the end of the day,

That's about the most simplistic view of channeling.

You're receiving energy and you're translating it,

Right?

The most basic view of it.

Now,

There are lots of different kinds of channeling.

It's not just connecting,

Receive energy,

Speak.

There are different kinds of channeling,

Right?

And one of the main ones that if you've been watching Light Leaders Ascension School,

You would know about is trance channeling.

So trance channeling is when I actually go into trance state.

So if you've ever been in a deep hypnosis session or you've done a past life regression.

So when you're in that really deep altered theta brainwave state where you're like,

Oh,

Am I here?

Am I not?

I feel so deeply relaxed.

Because what it does is the ego and the lower mind disconnects more,

Right?

Because trance channeling,

It filters less.

So trance channeling is when I go into that space,

You see me with my eyes closed as being speaks through me.

It's the most unfiltered way to bring through information.

So when we're channeling modalities,

Teachings,

Information that are quite specific and technical,

Trance channeling is really,

Really powerful for this.

It's also quite intensive.

Like you can't trance channel for hours and hours and hours on end because it'll burn out your nervous system,

Right?

So you have a capacity.

Yes,

You can increase that capacity,

But you also have to respect it.

You can't trance channel for four hours straight.

You need to take a break.

My limit is probably about two hours.

And that's when I start to notice,

All right,

My body's had enough because you're bringing so much energy and light down into your body.

Generally,

When people start trance channeling,

I only see them go for like 10 minutes to start with.

And then it gets longer and longer and longer as they learn how to hold that energy in their body.

So in trance channeling,

You're bringing that consciousness into your body and it's speaking through you,

Right?

Like you've seen me do in Light Leaders Ascension School.

And if you haven't,

The big thing about trance channeling is the ego needs to be detached,

Right?

And I actually teach processes in Channeling Spirit Academy how to do that because we don't want the ego to come in and filter the information that you're going to get.

That's really important.

Trance channeling is my go-to.

I love it.

It's been so important for me,

So important for my life,

My relationship,

My work.

But then we also have indirect or non-trance channeling,

Right?

Which is where it's like the being is there with you and you're having a conversation,

Right?

So it's like I might see a spirit guide over there and me and that spirit guide are going to have a conversation,

Right?

It helps if you're clairvoyant with this because then you will see the being and have a conversation because psychic ability is different to channeling.

You may use your channeling,

Your psychic abilities whilst you're channeling.

You know,

Like I see,

I feel,

I hear,

But channeling is you receiving that information.

It's your channel.

It's different.

It's not a psychic ability,

Which is extra sensory based on your 3D senses,

Right?

So you have the 3D side and the 5D side.

So that psychic ability,

But channeling actually is our ability to connect to the higher realms and bring through consciousness and energy.

We all have the ability to channel,

Right?

I'm not special.

I've just developed this gift,

Right?

But the thing is I've taken thousands of people through Channeling Spirit Academy.

And so I know that everybody can develop it.

And how often I hear people who are like,

Wow,

I never thought that I'd actually be able to channel,

But oh my God,

I'm channeling.

And it's because,

You know,

You might be someone who has been told,

Just sit down,

Meditate,

Call in your guides,

Connect with them.

And you've done that.

You're like,

Okay,

Guys,

Let's talk.

You're meditating,

But you're not channeling.

And the reality is for you to accurately,

Clearly,

Consistently be able to channel,

You need to clear any blocks,

Resistances,

Activate your higher channels and higher chakras.

A lot of people have dormant higher chakras.

They don't know how to channel.

They don't have a system for it.

They don't have steps.

And then they're not channeling.

So of course you actually need a system.

You need steps,

You need support,

You need healings,

You need activations.

If you're getting stuck,

You can't go deeper.

You need someone to work with you energetically to clear whatever's stopping you and activate your channel.

And I do all of that in Channeling Spirit Academy.

That's why we get such good results.

That's why people get over and over again.

And also our systems and processes work really,

So I know that anybody can learn to channel,

Right?

And if you're not channeling yet,

Sometimes people ask me,

Oh,

I'm channeling a bit.

Am I right for Channeling Spirit Academy?

If you're not channeling consistently,

Whenever you want,

On demand,

Incredibly clearly and getting the exact information you want,

You need to go deeper with your channeling,

Right?

You may be able to,

What I see a lot of is spontaneous channels where they'll just like get a download all of a sudden and they say,

Oh,

My spirit guide said,

And I'm like,

Great,

Go ask your spirit guide this,

This,

This,

This,

This,

And get this information.

And they're like,

I don't know how it just kind of comes in sometimes,

Or maybe they'll be reading cards and they'll get a little bit come through.

You don't need cards.

You need to learn how to channel,

Right?

You don't need to interpret a card.

You just go spirit.

What are you trying to tell me?

Right.

And channeling the way that I see it as well.

It's,

It's like a walkie talkie.

So when you're dropped here into this realm,

Into this reality that we see here,

It's like this jungle,

Right?

And you're dropped here without a map.

Spirit guides are like,

All right,

Off you go.

Good luck.

Have fun.

And you drop and you forget you had a map before you incarnated.

You're like,

We're going to go that way.

And then you dropped in the jungle and you're like,

Shit,

I forgot which way did I say I was going to go?

You get the veil of amnesia,

Right?

Well,

We forget most of us forget anyway.

And so what most people do is then they start looking for the right path.

They're like,

Let me try this one.

Oh,

That didn't work.

Let me try that one.

Oh,

That didn't work.

And they start trying to figure out which path to take and they keep reaching dead ends or it's not working.

What channeling actually allows us to do is to skip this,

Trying to figure shit out on your own.

And it's like,

Hey,

Let me use my inbuilt walkie talkie that you'll have.

Hi spirit guides.

How you going?

Um,

Which path do I take?

Which one's for my highest good?

Why am I getting stopped?

What's the lesson I need to learn from this experience?

Is this person really my soulmate or is this like a story that I'm telling myself?

Whatever questions that you have,

You can get answered.

And then it's like,

Puts you on the path.

So channeling is this incredible tool for you to use right in day to day.

Let me ask about this and heal this and ship this.

But what it ultimately does,

It allows you,

It's not just a tool that you access here and there,

Or even every day.

It's about creating a spirit led life,

Which is a life that is co-created with the higher realms,

With your higher self,

With your soul.

You are guided.

Every step is guided and you are living the life that you came here to live.

Right?

That's a very rare thing.

Very few people can say that I'm living the life.

My soul chose me and wanted me to live an experience.

That's a big thing.

And not a lot of people are living that,

But when you are spirit led,

You get to have that experience.

People are like,

Okay,

Athena,

You say soul alignment is important.

How do I know my soul purpose?

How do I get soul aligned?

You got a channel,

Right?

You literally got a channel to be able to do that.

That's how you know your soul purpose.

You can follow the breadcrumbs.

You can do all the little things to get there and ask for signs.

But honestly,

If you don't want to wait and ask,

Lend a channel,

Go see a channel,

Go see someone that knows how to channel.

That's the number one way you're asking for higher dimensional information.

Well ask,

And you're going to have to ask higher dimensional consciousness,

Your higher self,

Your soul.

And to get that information,

You're going to need to channel.

So it is this really crucial skill that changes,

Honestly,

Changes everything,

Like everything.

And that's not not an understatement,

Like at all.

I know that I have lived that I have experienced that.

And I see that with clients and students every day.

So trans channeling.

That's one of the ways that we channel.

We have indirect channeling where the being is there.

We're having a conversation.

This is really great because the reality is if you want to see a lot of clients for channeling,

You can't do trans channeling sessions all day,

Every day,

If you want to see clients all day.

So you've got to be able to learn to indirect channel because it doesn't drain you.

I can call in and talk to my guides like right now,

Call them and have a conversation with them.

It doesn't drain me.

It doesn't exhaust me.

It's an enjoyable process,

Right?

Even trans channeling,

It's an enjoyable process,

Right?

But you get such an influx of high vibrational energy.

You're like,

Whoa,

I need to go and integrate this energy.

So you can't like push it.

So it's not like it takes away from you or drains you or anything,

But your body can only handle so much,

Right?

It's like taking the most powerful,

Intense crystal,

Putting it on your body and being in it.

You're going to have to take a break,

Right?

Indirect channeling,

It's constant.

You can be connected,

Speaking to your guides,

Receiving information all the time.

It's a consistent flow,

Right?

So it's really great if you want to bring it in with your clients or you want to add a channeling element to your work or your coaching or for your own life.

So we have this indirect channeling.

We also have a light language channeling,

Which is something completely different.

It's actually nothing to do with asking specific questions.

Light language is actually more to do with healings and activations and receiving frequencies.

And it's a very different experience to other types of channelings and how we go about activating it and receiving it and speaking it is very different to other channelings,

Right?

It is an experience of receiving frequencies and speaking them.

And through your voice,

You're actually activating those energies.

And light language,

It really comes from your soul,

Your higher self.

It's higher dimensional and it's an energetic transmission.

It's very powerful and very potent.

You also can channel things like plants,

You know,

The plant spirits.

Even think about like ayahuasca,

Right?

That is a master plant spirit.

Most people,

When they do ayahuasca,

They're communicating with ayahuasca,

Right?

Because they've opened up that connection with her.

But all plants have a higher self,

A master deity,

A master plant,

And you can channel that plant.

We have students from Channeling Spirit Academy who are naturopaths or herbalists,

And they actually work with and channel the higher self of these herbs to figure out which one is the best for this person and what they need.

You have a land spirits that you can work with,

Connect with.

Every home,

Every piece of land has land spirits working to it.

Nature spirits,

Right?

If you're working with nature,

If you're working with land,

If you're doing clearings,

Whatever it is you're doing,

It's really important to be able to have those communications open.

You can channel,

For example,

The higher self of money.

That's another big one that I've seen a lot of,

And even now we're doing it in Emerald Wealth Alchemy.

You can channel the Akashic Records.

That's also really important.

So with the Akashic Records,

It's actually connecting to a realm and working with the guides in the Akashic Records to receive information from the Akashic Records.

You can also be working with group consciousness or individual consciousness.

So what happens as a soul goes through evolution,

It gets to a point where it is where oftentimes multiple beings will come together to form one consciousness because their souls are so evolved,

Right?

So it might be a group of eight beings,

But when you connect to them and speak to them,

They introduce themselves as like,

Well,

We are a single group of being,

Right?

We're even councils of light,

Like the Intergalactic Federations of Light or the Divine Feminine Council.

So there are group consciousnesses you can communicate to and then singular consciousnesses,

Right?

Like Thoth or Ashtar.

So there are all these different connections that you can be working with.

The reality is a lot of people that I've seen come through Channeling Spirit Academy is they're contracted to work with a specific being.

So a lot of people have a contract to bring through specific information,

Teachings,

Or a being that wants to work with them to channel and connect with them.

And it comes online when we begin to channel.

Like for me,

That was with Ashtar,

Who is one of my guides who I've talked about a lot.

We co-created a program together and it was very important for me to channel Ashtar.

And he came through,

There was a contract,

Same with Goddess Isis,

Right?

I had a contract with her and she was waiting for me to get to a point where I could actually receive and be able to transmit the Isis card program.

The thing to understand is your guides want to speak to you.

You have an entire spiritual team who is like literally hanging to talk to you.

You're out here being like,

Oh,

Look,

Feathers and one,

One,

One,

And four,

Four,

Four.

And meantime,

Your spirit guides are like,

Take this path,

Do this thing,

Oh my God.

And they're trying their hardest to put you on the path that you need to be on.

The only way they can do it is like,

Let's give her a sign here.

But if you could go in and go,

Hey,

Spirit guides,

Which way should I go?

That way.

Oh,

Wouldn't that make their job so much easier?

Right?

We're out here trying to figure it out and they're like,

Why won't you listen to my signs?

Right?

And a lot of the time I connect with people's spiritual team and the spiritual team,

Like their guides are actually hanging to talk to them.

They're like,

Oh my God,

Finally.

All right,

We need to know this is,

This is,

And I'm like,

Okay,

Just give me a moment.

Cause they're so excited.

Like,

Oh my God,

We have so much to share and so much to tell.

So trust me,

You have guides and they really,

Really want to talk to you.

Right?

So there's information that they have for you and things they want to connect and bring through for you.

So look,

I actually see channeling as the,

It's the key to everything.

That's how I feel about it.

That's how I see it.

And it's not only,

It's like,

All right,

Get answers to everything in your life.

Like,

How do I heal this?

How do I shift this?

How do I manifest this?

What do I need to heal?

What do I need to call in for business?

Actually like for business growth.

But it also,

Like when you are in the process of channeling,

You are bringing in this incredibly high vibrational light and energy that is raising your vibration.

So people,

When they start channeling their psychic gifts come online,

They get more embodied in self-purpose because they're raising their vibration so much.

It's such a powerful shift and experience.

Even that alone is really,

Really powerful.

It's a really important tool for spiritual development.

And what it does is it also creates this trust and divine certainty.

I have such a deep level of trust in the divine,

In how much I'm loved and supported,

That it creates this safety.

Like I'm not,

Oh,

What if this happens?

Or what if that,

I'm like,

If it's going to happen,

It's going to happen.

And it's all perfect.

There's this ease.

I'm not trying to control everything,

My ego,

Because I have this divine trust,

Right?

That has come through connection,

Through channeling,

Through working with my spiritual team and understanding just how supported and loved I am.

And so are you.

I'm just aware of it because I'm talking and working with them so much.

So one of the things that I often get asked from people,

Or there's some confusion about,

They're like,

Okay,

Hold on.

How is channeling different from psychics,

Different from mediums,

Right?

And to be honest,

I see it as like three different things.

So mediumship itself is an art that I don't specialize in.

That is a whole thing that you've got to study and learn and understand.

It's working with a different realm.

It's working in a different dimension.

I'm usually working in much higher realms and dimensions for channeling.

It's a very different experience.

Mediums though,

Need to be psychic,

Right?

That's very,

Very important.

So psychics are anybody who has an activated extrasensory perception,

Right?

So maybe you get,

You sometimes have visions,

Maybe you get downloads from your guides sometimes,

Maybe you have a feeling and then a knowing something is going to happen.

The majority of like,

If you're watching this,

Most likely you're already psychic in some way,

Shape,

Or form.

And that's kind of a foundational thing.

Channeling itself is the communication pathway,

Right?

Psychic is how we interpret the energy,

Right?

So we're interpreting,

You know,

What we see in the other realms,

What we see here,

Experience in the other realms.

It could be higher realms.

It could be lower realms.

People,

When they're doing psychic work,

They might see negative beings,

Right?

We see,

We don't have that in channelings.

We're connecting specifically and intentionally to higher dimensional beings.

So there is a big difference.

However,

You can still,

In your channeling work,

Work with your psychic abilities.

And very often your psychic abilities come online and channeling,

And you learn how to work with them because you are connecting and communicating so much with these higher realms.

So whenever I open up and I go to channel,

You know,

I don't just kind of go,

All right,

Who wants to come through me?

There's a very intentional set up and preparation.

I'm really big on discernment.

I'm really big on safety.

I'm really big on protection.

Channeled thousands and thousands and thousands of times.

And I've seen and taught people channel thousands of times.

I've never had a bad experience,

Ever.

But I'll tell you what,

My energy,

Care,

My protection,

My discernment,

My safety,

My vibration,

All that work is immaculate.

And that high standard,

I take that and I teach that too,

Right?

I don't believe and then just ignore it.

Just pretend everything's love and light and you'll be fine.

I think that's quite irresponsible.

And it is really important to know how to discern,

Is it being of the light?

Am I safe?

Have I done all the preparation work,

Right?

I don't just go sit in a park and open up to channel,

Go,

Is my,

Am I in a sacred space?

Have I set up this space that I know what's in it,

What the energy is and how am I set up?

So it's really,

Really important to have that set up,

To have a clear and positive experience.

We don't want,

Just want to say,

All right,

I haven't done any preparation.

What wants to come through me?

That's how we end up having a bad experience.

However,

When we do it correctly,

When we set ourselves up,

We connect to the higher realms because we've got to connect up into higher realms,

Right?

That's one part of it,

Along with a whole bunch of others.

In fact,

The first four modules of Channeling Spirit Academy is just learning how to manage your energy,

How to shift into the higher realms,

How to hold space for the channelings.

It's just actually preparing you,

Knowing how to clear yourself,

Clear your space,

Prepare this,

Like high advanced energetic techniques to prepare you to know,

Discern all of these things so that you can channel safely and clearly,

Right?

Super,

Super important.

So when we're in that space,

When we're connected to a higher dimension,

There's a couple of different options.

Sometimes there will be a being that is like,

I need to come through,

I need to come through,

Right?

And that would cut us ISIS.

She was like,

All right,

Athena,

We need to talk.

We need to talk.

So anytime I'd connect to my team and call them in,

She was always there like,

Yep,

We need to talk.

And other times you might say,

Okay,

Well,

Who wants to,

Who is the most important being for me to communicate with today?

And a being might come through,

Or you might say,

I have questions about my sole purpose.

Which guide can come forward today and talk to me about?

So we can be quite intentional,

Or we can be open.

Like,

What do I most need to hear today?

Or what do I most need to understand and learn about today?

Right?

And I ask my guides that every day.

I go through my setup and I ask,

What do I need to do today?

What's the most important thing I need to be aware of today?

What do I need to know today?

Right?

Those are important things to ask yourself.

Something else I want to say when we channel,

It's never a loss of control.

It's not like,

Oh,

We don't know what's happening.

We do,

Even with trans channeling,

Where I'm in an altered state.

And when I come out of it,

I usually don't really remember what has happened during that experience.

Right?

To me,

It's kind of like when you remember a dream and there's like bits of it coming back,

But it's not like I'll remember because I'm in such a deep trans state.

I don't always remember what has come through exactly,

But as it's coming through me,

It's like,

It's like,

I can feel it.

I can understand it.

I can hear it.

But then it's like,

Once it leaves my mouth and I say it,

That awareness just dissipates.

And still in that moment,

I have full autonomy,

Even in the deepest of trans channels.

If I'm like,

I don't want to do this anymore.

This doesn't feel good or whatever.

I can say,

Stop and get out of it.

You never give away your control,

Right?

Ever.

You're always in full autonomy,

Full control,

No matter what type of trans channeling,

As long as you've set it up safely,

Which is really important.

Channeling is one of those things,

You know,

I'm very encouraging of like,

Go connect with your guides and go practice self healing on yourself and all of these things.

Channeling is one of those things where I kind of like,

I see it like plant medicine.

It's not a go experiment and try it out.

It's like maybe learn from people who have really mastered it and learn some techniques so you can do it safely.

Because if you don't do it safely,

It can have negative repercussions and negative effects.

And unfortunately I have seen that.

So it's one of those things where I'm like,

I don't mean to create any fear,

But I also just like,

Just know what you're doing,

Right?

You're allowing beings into your space.

You really got to be very mindful of how you're doing it.

So when I'm channeling,

It is a full-bodied experience.

Like it's very common for me to see things,

Feel things,

Experience emotions.

And oftentimes when I see people channel for the first time,

Because it's such a beautiful high vibrational light and energy they're receiving to their body,

It's like they feel emotional from all the love that they're experiencing.

It's a really beautiful experience.

Like it's very hard to put into words,

But it's so deeply nourishing.

It fills up our cup.

It connects us so deeply to who we are and our truth.

And it's like,

I feel like when I go days without channeling,

I'm like that connection to the divine,

Which I think every single human has this cup that requires connection to the divine.

And when we nourish that and that connection to the divine,

We feel full,

We feel expanded.

It strengthens our energy.

It does really beautiful things for us.

And channeling allows us to experience that in a really beautiful way.
