Thank you everybody for coming.
Going to invite you to have your cacao ready in front of you.
First of all we are going to close our eyes.
Place both of our hands over our heart.
And start taking some nice,
Beautiful,
Deep breaths.
As we start coming into this moment,
Settling into this space.
Dropping your shoulders,
Releasing your jaw.
Breathing nice and deep into your heart.
Beautiful goddess,
I call to you.
Surround me with light,
Gentle and true.
Wrap me with love,
Safe and sound.
Whisper your wisdom,
So I may stand my ground.
May this space be soft and bright,
Held in warmth and quiet light.
Hearts connected far and near,
Gathered gently together here.
Breathing in that light,
Breathing in that love.
That light,
Feeling it surrounding you,
Wrapping you up like a warm blanket.
Allowing it to connect to you.
It connects all of us here in this space.
Keeps us safe.
Energizes us.
Guides us.
Breathing that light into your heart.
Taking one more nice deep breath in.
And a slow gentle breath out.
When you're ready.
I invite you to hold your cacao.
Holding it in your hands so that you feel the warmth in your fingers.
Starting to smell that beautiful aroma.
Perhaps even placing your cacao against your chest so that you feel the warmth in your heart.
Mama Cacao,
Your gift we receive with grace.
Thank you for supporting this sacred space.
We honour the ancestors,
The lands,
The histories.
And we thank the farmers and families who tend to your trees.
We accept this gift with gratitude,
Respect and deep care,
Giving thanks to the earth,
The water,
The fire and the air.
May this cup be warm in our hands,
A quiet bridge across distant lands.
Together,
Sipping,
Breathing slow,
Held in Kakao's heart,
We grow.
With this cup of cacao tonight,
We gather,
Not to become someone new.
But to remember who we have always been.
To release the weight of comparison.
To lay down the rulers that we have used to measure our worth.
May this cacao open our hearts,
Soften our minds,
And guide us gently home to ourselves as we reconnect with the unique magic that lives within each of us.
Tonight,
With Mama Cacao as our guide and as our support,
We will take our first three sips together.
Three intentional sips,
Three invitations to connect.
And with our first sip together.
Just notice where you've been comparing yourself.
Perhaps you've compared your success to someone else's?
Your creativity?
Your healing journey,
Your appearance.
Your relationship with God.
Your progress.
Without judgement.
Gently notice.
And sit.
Breathing in to the warmth of that first sip just now.
Comparison is not a flaw.
It is often a sign that you've forgotten to look at your own path and you've become distracted by someone else's.
Breathe into that energy.
As you say to yourself,
I lovingly notice where comparison has been stealing my attention.
I lovingly notice where comparison has been stealing my attention.
Breathing into that energy.
As we prepare for our second sit together.
We lay down the ruler.
Imagine all those invisible rulers that you've been carrying.
The rulers that measure productivity.
The rule is that measure success.
The ruler that measures worthiness.
The ruler that measures whether you are doing enough,
Achieving enough.
Becoming Enough.
Feel the weight.
Of all those rulers in your hands.
Now imagine placing them gently on the earth beside you as you take a gentle sip.
Breathing into that energy.
You do not need to carry those rulers any longer.
Nothing in nature measures itself this way.
The moon,
The forest,
The wildflowers.
And neither should you.
Breathing into your heart as you say to yourself I release the need to measure my worth by anyone else's standards.
I release the need to measure my worth by anyone else's standards.
Breathing into that energy.
With our third sit together.
We remember our own magic.
Beneath the comparison,
Beneath the self-doubt,
Beneath the stories that tell you who you should be,
There is something ancient and true.
Your own magic.
Look within at the gifts that are uniquely yours.
As you take a gentle sip.
As you breathe into that energy.
Just know that you were born to be yourself,
Not a copy.
The way you love,
The way you create,
The way you move through this world.
That medicine is something only you can offer.
That is you.
Is your superpower.
Breathe into that energy.
Breathe into your own magic.
As you say to yourself.
I trust my own path and honour the magic that lives within me.
I trust my own path and honour the magic that lives within me.
Breathing into that energy.
Going to invite you to continue sipping your cacao.
As we connect in with tonight's song.
I wish that you could see Your own magic as clearly as me The spark that shines beneath your doubt The light you somehow counted out Your path looks different,
This is true because it belongs only to you.
No soul was ever meant to grow by following another's road.
The moon is not sorry for her phases We marvel at each of her stages While flowers don't bloom in perfect lines Yet beauty spills from every vine you you Nothing in nature tries to be A copy of what it cannot see Each branch and blossom plays a part Growing differently as their own work of art Comparison asks you to be someone else.
Kakao invites you home to yourself.
The forest,
It grows without shade Because not every tree is the same Oh.
.
.
The magic within is your own.
You walk the path but not alone Your magic grows when you allow Your truest self to guide you Breathing into that energy.
If you're still sipping your cacao.
That's okay.
You can keep sipping.
Otherwise I invite you.
To settle into your chair.
Make yourself nice and comfortable.
Feeling the warmth of your cacao running through you.
Allowing your breath to soften.
Knowing there is nowhere else that you need to be.
Your mind's eye.
Just imagine yourself standing before a magnificent doorway.
The doorframe shimmers with silvery moonlight.
Stars dance across its surface like tiny sparks of magic.
Drawn by curiosity,
You reach for the handle and gently push the door open.
Beyond the doorway stretches a long and beautiful hall.
The floor gleams like polished crystals.
Soft golden lanterns cast a wide,
Warm glow.
Along each side of the hallway are mirrors.
You feel a gentle invitation to step forward.
And as you do,
You realise these are not ordinary mirrors.
Each one reflects a version of yourself.
You stop before the first mirror.
And looking back at you is a version of yourself carrying a heavy burden.
This version is constantly striving.
Constantly measuring.
Constantly wondering if they are enough.
Enough compared to others.
Successful enough,
Productive enough,
Creative enough,
Spiritual enough.
They work so hard trying to earn what has always belonged to them.
Taking a nice deep breath into your heart as it starts to soften You understand now.
This version of you was never trying to be difficult.
They simply forgot their own magic.
You reach out and place a hand over the mirror.
Silently whispering,
You do not need to earn your worth.
You do not need to earn your worth.
And as you feel those words connecting in.
The mirror fades.
As you continue down the hall,
The next mirror reflects all of the roles that you have worn.
The people pleaser,
The perfectionist,
The overachiever,
The caretaker,
The one who tries to hold everything together.
You notice how heavy these masks have become.
You notice how much energy it takes to wear them.
One by one.
Imagine these masks gently dissolving into golden light.
Beneath them remains only you.
As you walk on.
The next mirror is unlike the others.
Its surface constantly shifts.
Faces appear and disappear.
People you've admired?
People you've envied?
People you've compared yourself to?
For a moment,
You watch yourself shrinking in their presence.
Dimming your own light.
Forgetting your own gifts.
And something remarkable happens.
The mirror begins to crack.
Not in a frightening way.
In a freeing way.
The illusion is breaking.
Through the cracks,
You see a brilliant light.
His light is the truth.
That their path was never yours.
Their magic was never yours.
And your magic was never meant to be theirs.
As you walk on,
Reaching the end of the hallway,
One final mirror stands tall.
Larger than all the others.
Quiet.
Still.
Waiting.
You slowly step closer,
Expecting to see another version of yourself.
But this mirror shows something different.
It shows no masks.
No comparisons.
No expectations.
No striving.
No measuring.
Only your essence.
The truest expression of who you are.
Notice the light in your eyes.
Notice their strength.
Notice your wisdom.
Notice your magic.
It has been there all along.
Your reflection smiles at you.
As you gently place one hand on your heart and one hand on the mirror before you.
As you say to yourself.
Welcome home.
The mirror slowly dissolves into a brilliant light.
The light settles gently within your heart.
As the hallway starts to fade away,
So too do the old stories.
The stories that say that you are behind.
The story that you are not enough.
The story that you must become someone else before you are worthy.
They all fade away.
And in their place a deeper truth remains.
You are enough.
You have always been enough.
Like the moon.
You were simply moving through your phases.
Like the wildflower.
You were simply growing in your own way.
Your magic needs no measuring.
It is uniquely yours.
And it has been with you all along.
It has simply been waiting for you to remember it.
Thank you and blessed be.
