Hello and welcome.
I'm Ashley.
Thank you so much for setting time aside to focus on yourself today.
Before we begin,
Please make sure you are settled in a safe,
Comfortable space where you can fully relax and let go.
Because this recording is designed to guide you into a state of deep relaxation,
Please do not listen while driving,
Operating machinery,
Or doing anything that requires your full attention.
Now take a deep breath in and let's begin.
Welcome.
For the next 20 minutes,
There is nothing you need to do or fix.
You only need to be here.
Find a position that feels comfortable.
You might sit with your back supported or lie down.
Let your eyes close or rest your gaze softly on the floor.
Whatever feels right is right.
Let's begin with a breath.
Breathe in through your nose slowly and let your belly rise like a balloon filling with air.
Let it go through your mouth with a soft sigh.
Once more,
Breathe in,
Bringing in something fresh and calm.
And breathe out,
Letting your shoulders drop.
Your jaw soften and your forehead smooth.
Now let your breathing find its own rhythm.
You do not need to control it.
With each breath out,
Your body can grow a little heavier.
A little cozier.
A little bit more relaxed.
You're entering a quiet place inside your mind.
And you are welcome here exactly as you are.
Let's travel slowly through your body and meet each part with kindness.
Bring your attention to your feet.
Notice them and let them soften.
Your legs heavy and supported.
Your belly and your back,
Letting go of anything you're holding.
Moving to your hands and to your arms,
Your shoulders,
Let them melt a little.
Move up to your face,
Relax your eyes and the space between your eyebrows.
Your body has carried you throughout every day of your life.
Take a moment to quietly say thank you.
Now imagine you're standing at the edge of an ancient,
Friendly forest.
The trees are tall and wide.
Their emerald leaves glowing softly.
The air smells like wildflower honey and morning rain.
Before you is a path of soft golden moss.
As you step onto it,
Tiny specks of light drift through the air like little stars dancing in the breeze.
Each time a spark touches you,
Warmth and calm spread throughout your body.
Walk slowly down the path.
You're safe here.
You are protected.
And you're feeling curious.
Ahead,
The path opens into a quiet clearing filled with sunlight.
In the middle stands a tall archway woven from flowering vines.
Beneath it rests a clear,
Still pool of water,
Smooth as glass.
You walk over and sit on the soft grass beside it.
Leaning forward and look into the water.
This pool doesn't show your face.
It shows the light inside your heart.
Notice a soft glow beginning in your chest,
Golden or rose or amber,
Whichever color feels like yours.
This light is your kindness,
Your courage,
Your creativity,
Your warmth.
It is everything that makes you,
You.
Let it grow a little brighter with each breath.
Beside the pool stands the grandest tree in the forest.
The wishing tree.
Its wide branches offer shelter,
And its golden leaves rustle in the breeze like a gentle voice.
Listen to what the tree is whispering to you.
You are worthy of kindness.
You're allowed to make mistakes and learn.
Your love just as you are right now.
If it feels comfortable,
Place one hand on your heart.
And one on your belly.
Feel the steady rhythm of your heartbeat.
The slow rise and fall of your breath.
You might silently repeat these words or simply let them wash over you.
I am kind to myself.
I am strong,
Even in quiet moments.
I deserve love and happiness every single day.
Now imagine the golden light from the pool rising and gathering around you like a soft velvety cloak.
It rests on your shoulders,
Warms your back,
And settles over your heart.
This cloak is your self-love.
It protects you from harsh words,
Including the harsh words you sometimes say to yourself.
Let's offer this warmth outward too.
Silently picture someone you care about.
And wish them well.
May you be happy.
May you be safe.
May you be at peace.
Now,
Offer those same words to yourself.
May I be happy.
May I be safe.
May I be at peace.
Sometimes we carry heavy thoughts,
Worries,
Mistakes,
The feeling of not being good enough,
Or the feeling of being left out.
Beside you in the grass is a small paper lantern.
In your mind,
Gather any heavy thoughts that you are ready to set down.
Place each of these negative thoughts gently inside the lantern.
There's no hurry.
And it doesn't need to be perfect.
The lantern glows warmly.
Watch it lift from your hands and float up into the evening sky.
Carrying those thoughts higher and higher.
Until they dissolve.
Into starlight.
Notice the space it leaves behind.
Light,
Open and calm.
Take a deep,
Nourishing breath in,
Filling your chest with peace.
Remember that the forest,
The glass pool,
The velvet cloak are always inside you.
You don't need to travel anywhere to find them.
They're waiting whenever you choose to return.
Now slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the room.
Feel the floor or the chair beneath you.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Stretch if that feels good whenever you're ready.
Let your eyes open.
Take a moment to smile to yourself.
And carry this warmth into the rest of your day.
Thank you for taking this time for yourself.
You
