Hi there,
My name is Aria Deepwater.
Welcome to a healing in the bee yard.
Guided Visualization based on my free speculative novella,
Three Moons.
In this meditation,
We're going to offer our nervous system and our emotional body a chance to carry whatever it is that we're struggling with a little differently.
To invite in a new opportunity.
To feel supported.
And allow the weight of whatever we are struggling with.
To feel a little lighter.
I invite you in this moment.
To embrace this meditation as an opportunity to feel supported.
Whether you are sitting in a chair.
On a comfy couch.
Lying down.
In your bed,
Or resting on the floor.
Really take a moment and invite in as much comfort and support as you can manage in this moment.
Go ahead and treat yourself.
When we take the opportunity to offer ourselves physical support and relaxation.
It signals to the rest of our consciousness.
That we are in fact willing to relax and take care of ourselves.
And this is such a sweet and important message.
So embrace this as an opportunity to really communicate.
To your body.
Heart and spirit.
That you're listening to yourself.
Taking time for yourself.
And really sinking in to this chance to relax.
And feel supported.
I encourage you to focus on your breath.
We don't have to ask the breath to do anything or be anything in particular.
We're just bringing a soft.
Gentle attention.
To the way we are breathing.
And how it feels to breathe in and out.
And how it feels to breathe out.
And as we.
.
.
Bring our attention to the breath.
We also invite it into the body.
Encouraging our whole self to take a few moments.
And just relax.
You may want to breathe in rest.
And breathe out relaxation.
And as you just breathe gently.
And easily.
In your own time.
And in your own rhythm.
You may find yourself noticing.
That your body naturally begins to settle.
And if it hasn't just yet.
Maybe not all at once.
Maybe not completely.
But even a little shift.
Intention.
Can make a big difference.
The tiniest of letting go.
Can make.
A lovely change in how we feel.
Breathing in rest.
Breathing out relaxation.
I invite you to notice where.
And when.
Your body has relaxed.
And really appreciate it.
Bring some warm,
Friendly gratitude.
To those places in your body.
That are letting go.
That are responding.
To the opportunity to release.
By breathing in rest.
And breathing out relaxation.
And as your attention gently touches those places where your body has relaxed,
With your next breath.
Perhaps you can invite that softness.
To expand.
Enjoy the gentle,
Soft sound.
Melting.
Of your body.
And your attention.
And the time that you are spending here with yourself.
Now imagine that you are moving along a path.
In a beautiful meadow.
Tall grasses rise on either side of you.
Cluster of red poppies.
Gets your attention along the edges of the path.
The sun is warm and high in the sky.
And there's a relaxing fullness to the air.
It's that beautiful part of the day when everything feels ripe and whole.
And you're just here.
Moving along the path.
Breathing gently.
Maybe you reach out and touch the grass.
Feel the tips of it.
Dancing and tickling on your palms and your fingers.
I'm somewhere.
High above you.
You hear the call of a crow.
And you look up.
See it circling,
High in the sky.
And that's when you notice something interesting.
You notice that the sky.
.
.
Is a different color from the one you are used to.
It's almost like the crow wanted you to look up and see it.
The golden light of the sun.
Makes the sky.
Look lavender.
A soft,
Beautiful,
Light purple stretches all around you.
As far as you can see.
Somewhere in your heart.
You know that at other times of day.
When the sun is not so bright.
The sky.
Is darker.
An amethyst or a violet.
Just knowing about this and thinking about it brings a smile to your face.
You feel very much at home in this place.
As you walk along this meadow path.
You begin to feel a subtle vibration in the air.
It's as if this gentle,
Low humming.
Is calling you forward.
And your heart decides to answer it.
So as you come around a corner,
You notice that the meadow opens up to a yard.
Filled with bee boxes.
The hives are busy with activity.
And there's no danger here.
The bees are used to visitors.
They like welcoming people to their homes.
They even enjoy the company.
You sit on a bench on the edge of the yard and just watch the activity of the bees.
Letting the sound soothe your thoughts.
And trace the shape of your presence.
For a few moments.
You can simply allow yourself to melt into this place.
Allowing the vibration to hold you.
The vast lavender sky above you warmed with golden sunlight.
Looks down.
As if it cares about you.
The bees are busy.
Coming home back to their boxes,
To their community.
Working in their hives.
Filling the air with sound and vibration.
Perhaps you feel something rising to the surface.
Attention.
Pain.
A loss or anxiety.
There's no need to tell a story about it.
You can acknowledge it.
All humans carry.
Wounds.
Some are big.
Some are small.
Some old or fresh.
Some are ours.
And some some we carry for others or our world.
But from time to time,
They all need attention.
Kindness.
Energy and support.
This is the practice of grief.
To hold our pain or struggle honestly.
And let it heal in the open.
To seek support and meaning.
It's what humans are designed to do.
So sitting in the bee yard,
It feels like home.
Maybe.
It's possible to do this in a new way.
Like the bees can help you.
Carry whatever you're struggling with differently.
I invite you to move closer to the hives.
Hold gratitude in your heart.
For the bees and the work that they do.
For the simple gift of being here.
Present.
In this moment.
Allow the pain.
Or whatever you're struggling with.
To rise.
Into the space around you.
And just be there as it is.
Remembering that you are safe.
That there is no danger.
And whatever it is that you're carrying.
Isn't overwhelming in this moment.
It simply is.
Ask the bees for help and support.
In grieving honestly.
In all of its messiness.
With compassion and strength.
Ask them to help you carry this sorrow or pain with wholeness and gratitude.
To find caring and meaning.
And a simple willingness to be a human that hurts and lets go.
As much as one that rejoices.
And embraces.
Invite the bees to trace the shape of all that you are and all that you experience and reflect that back to you in whatever way would serve your highest good today.
Trusting that this is a healing.
That it is doing exactly what it needs to do.
And all you have to do is receive.
Allow yourself to receive their support and their givingness.
Under a golden lavender sky.
In a world made of magic and grace.
And a crow circling high above.
Watching over you.
In this moment.
I invite you to bring your attention back to your breath.
Breathing in peace.
And breathing out gratitude.
Thank the bees.
Thank the sky in all of its purple glory.
Thank the sun and the crow.
And this world for holding you.
We're helping you to carry.
Whatever it is that you're carrying,
A little differently.
Breathing in peace.
And breathing out gratitude.
Feel the edges of your body.
And the room in which you are sitting or lying down.
Allow the vision to fade.
And absorb.
Into your heart space.
As you breathe in.
You can hear the sound of the bees beginning to fade.
The work it needs to do already sinking into your body and your nervous system.
Breathing in peace.
And breathing out gratitude.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Take a gentle stretch.
Say another thank you to this world as the vision fades completely,
Absorbing into your heart.
And in your own way.
And in your own time.
Come on back to the waking world.
I hope you enjoyed this healing experience in the bee yard.
And that maybe you feel a little differently about whatever it is that you're carrying.
Please know that you don't carry it alone.
That we are all humans and we all have pain and sorrow that we deal with.
And we all need help with it from time to time.
It's natural.
It's normal.
And it should bring us together.
