Hello and welcome to your inner guidance meditation.
In this meditation we are going to consult with some of your parts and instead of seeking out the parts that are having a difficult time or needing to process emotions or wounds,
This time we are going to seek the counsel of your parts that are whole,
Grounded,
And deeply connected to your own inner wisdom.
When you're ready to begin,
I'll invite you to settle into your seat and see if you can get even five percent more comfortable,
Allowing the body to really arrive and be at ease.
Once you've settled in,
I invite you to take a few breaths to really root yourself here.
Slow the breath down,
Taking slow,
Steady breaths in and out through the nose,
If that's comfortable.
And then bring your awareness to the sensation of the clothes on your body.
Feel their temperature,
Their texture.
Then I invite you to bring your awareness to the sensation of the earth below you.
Really let yourself feel into the points of contact between your body and the earth.
And allow yourself here to really feel the grounding,
Resourced support of the earth.
Take a few more breaths here to settle into this groundedness.
Now as you're ready,
I invite you to call a counsel of your whole grounded parts.
You might say something like,
Hello internal world,
I'd like to call a counsel,
A guidance session from my own inner wisdom.
Can you please send some representatives,
Some representatives who are whole,
Grounded,
And can support me in navigating what I'm going through right now.
We'll rest here for seven to eight breaths to just notice what's going on in the internal world and who shows up.
Notice who or what has arrived on the scene as you call this counsel of your whole grounded parts.
And if you need more time to call them in,
Feel free to pause this meditation here.
But if some parts have presented themselves to you,
Take a moment to take them in.
To notice how they're presenting themselves.
To notice what energy they're showing up in.
Anything else you might notice about the way they're showing up.
Then when you feel you've had an opportunity to take them in,
I want to invite you to introduce yourself to them.
They already know you,
But take a moment to just like you were meeting a friend or a guide,
Take a moment to introduce yourself.
Let them know who you are and how grateful you are for their support.
And then I'll invite you to ask these parts that have shown up as a part of your guidance counsel to introduce themselves to you.
Ask them to tell you who they are,
What they're good at,
And how they might be able to support you in this moment and in this season.
If it's helpful,
You can focus in on one part at a time.
Once again,
We'll rest here for another eight to ten breaths,
Just listening for their responses.
Again,
Take your time here if you're still hearing from these parts,
From your guidance counsel.
If you'd like to pause to continue to hear what they want to tell you,
You're more than welcome to.
When you are ready to continue on,
I invite you to now share with your guidance counsel of whole,
Grounded parts what you're going through right now that you specifically would love to seek their counsel on.
Lay out the whole picture for them so they can understand,
Even giving them context to any other conversations you've had with other parts.
And then ask them how they might support you,
How they might help you navigate this season,
This circumstance,
This thing that you're working with that you need their help with.
Now we're going to rest here together for as long as you'd like.
In fact,
I invite you to linger here until you feel the conversation with your whole,
Grounded parts feels complete.
The music will continue on for a while and when you do feel complete,
I'll invite you to conclude this conversation by extending gratitude to these parts,
By asking them to stay with you and support you as you continue on through the rest of your day,
And then by re-grounding yourself.
Again,
Take your time with this.
You can truly treat this like a literal dialogue between you and another person.
Your guidance counsel will offer you as much support as you need.
So take your time,
Keep your mind,
Your heart,
And your ears open.
