Sit with your back straight,
Hands resting gently in your lap,
Or lie on your back with your arms resting by your side.
Close your eyes if you feel comfortable to do so,
Or soften your gaze.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
And again,
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
Start to feel your body relaxing.
Relax and release any tension from your whole body,
Starting with your toes,
The soles of your feet,
Top of your feet,
Ankles,
Calves,
Shins,
Thighs and glutes.
Lower back,
Abdomen,
Upper back and chest.
Roll your shoulders up and down and back.
Relax your arms and hands and fingers.
Release your neck and jaw.
Let the muscles in your face release and soften.
Imagine your energy flowing up and down your spine as you breathe in and out.
Take a deep breath into your chest and release.
Take a deep breath into your abdomen and release.
Now take a deep breath into your abdomen and chest,
Expanding the whole front of your body and release.
We're now going to take a journey to meet your higher self.
Place your hands over your heart chakra in the middle of your chest.
Imagine a glow of golden light filling your heart space,
Swirling in your chest.
And as it swirls,
It gets bigger and starts to emanate from your chest.
As it does,
It swirls around your body,
Your chest,
Your shoulders and neck.
It swirls around your head and as it reaches the top of your head,
It moves up into the sky.
Feel the warmth and love from this light as it reaches higher and higher,
Up out of our atmosphere,
Up to the universe or the heavens.
As your light reaches as far as it will go,
It starts to gently fall back towards you.
As it comes closer,
You notice it's bringing with it a figure or a vision Look through your third eye.
See this vision in the light.
This is your higher self.
Greet and welcome your higher self.
Invite them to come closer.
Ask your higher self to help you in making a stronger connection.
Feel the radiance of your higher self love like an embrace or a hug,
Wrapping itself around you.
See the light from your higher self glow and as it touches you,
Feel your vibration increase.
Your higher self is now becoming one with you.
Feel your body taking back in the light with your higher self,
As if you are recharging a part of your energy.
Let your higher self merge with you even more until your energy patterns are taking the radiance of your higher self.
You and your higher self are now one.
As your higher self deepen your breathing,
Open to create a greater flow of energy in your body.
Adjust your shoulders and chest to reflect the confidence and wisdom of you as your higher self.
Now is your time to mentally ask your higher self for advice.
Is there a situation you want guidance on?
Listen to your inner voice.
What is your higher self telling you?
Is there anything else your higher self would like to tell you?
Listen to the words your higher self is giving you.
No question,
No doubt,
Just acceptance.
Thank your higher self for meeting you today,
For sharing their wisdom and offering guidance.
When you are ready,
Allow your higher self to return to the divine.
Imagine them ascending back to the sky and out of sight.
Just sit here or rest here for a moment.
Breathe deeply and take in the messages received.
When you are ready,
Slowly start to bring movement back to your body.
Wiggle your toes and your fingers.
Perhaps give yourself a hug.
Bring your attention back into the room.
Noises,
Scents.
And slowly open your eyes or bring your focus back into the room.
Remain silent for a few moments and journal anything that came up for you.
Any feelings,
Any words,
Any emotions that arose.
Did you receive a message?
What does your higher self look like or feel like to you?
Just reflect on that experience and write it down.
As you move into the rest of your day,
Remember that your higher self is always with you and you can return to this meditation to seek guidance and advice at any time you need.
