Welcome,
Friend,
To your five minute reset.
Because everything feels too much in this moment.
Don't worry,
We're just going to calm everything down by giving you a small place to land.
This is just a pause,
A time out,
Where you can catch your breath and connect to an inner sense of calm and well-being.
I'll see you on the other side.
Begin by noticing where your body is supported.
Feet on the floor,
Back against a chair,
The surface beneath you.
Feel the weight of your body.
Let it be heavy.
Now,
Gently breathe in through your nose for a count of four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And slowly breathe out through your mouth for a count of six.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Again,
This time inhale through the nose.
Two,
Three,
Four.
And exhale through the nose.
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
One more time.
Breathing in.
Two,
Three,
Four.
And a long steady breath out.
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Let your breathing return to a natural rhythm now.
If your thoughts are loud,
Let them be.
You don't need to quiet them.
Just stay with the feeling of physical contact.
Feet,
Hands,
Breath.
Now we'll soften the exhale again.
Breathe in gently through the nose for four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And out for six.
Slow.
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Six.
As you exhale,
Imagine tension draining downward through your chest,
Through your stomach,
Through your legs,
Into the ground.
The ground can hold it.
And again,
Inhale.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale.
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Notice the space at the bottom of the exhale.
That brief moment when nothing is required.
Rest here.
Now allow your breath to be easy,
Natural.
Notice if there is even the smallest shift.
Maybe a little more room inside your chest.
Maybe a little more steadiness.
Imagine a soft brightness inside you.
Not strong.
Not overwhelming.
Just a quiet light.
Steady.
Gentle.
Available.
Take one final breath in for four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And a long breath out for six.
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
When you're ready,
Bring small movement back.
Wiggle your fingers.
Roll your shoulders.
And carry that small brightness with you.
Nothing's solved.
Just a little more space.
And for now,
That is enough.
Gently open the eyes.
Good job.
You can come back to this mini vacay,
The inner sunshine,
As often as you need.
You deserve it.
Have a great day.
