Hey there,
I'm Amanda and this is Ananda,
Amanda Yoga,
Qigong and Meditation.
We're going to do a little meditation now.
This is for those days where you know you're not feeling like you've got it all together,
When really you have.
So make yourself comfortable.
I'm perched up on a blanket.
You might be laying down,
You might be seated in a chair.
Just make sure you feel comfortable.
And when you're ready,
If you feel okay with it,
Close your eyes.
And if not,
Keep your eyes open.
And maybe,
You know,
Give a little sway from side to side,
Noticing the weight on one buttock and then the other.
And then feel your way to center.
And you might wriggle your fingers,
Soften your palms,
Turning your palms face up or down on your body or beside your body.
And take a moment here to make really small movements with the back of your neck.
Maybe just a little side on figure eights.
And slowly bring that to center.
You might even move your shoulders up like you're going to pop them in your ears and let them roll down.
And then find your way to a still point,
Knowing that if you do need to move,
You can.
Gently steer your attention toward your breath,
Softening the inside of your mouth and feeling the breath moving in through your nostrils and down into your lungs.
Inflating your belly,
Your chest,
Letting the breath be exactly as it is.
No need to alter it or change it.
Feeling the air moving in and out,
Softening and re-softening and meeting yourself right where you are at this moment.
In your mind's eye,
Begin to see a doorway.
It could be a wooden doorway,
A metal doorway,
A stone doorway.
And see your own hand reach out and turn the knob on that doorway.
And as you open the door and step through,
Step into our most beautiful forest.
As you gaze around you,
You notice that the leaves on the trees are emerald,
A luminous emerald green.
Everything around you is shimmering.
You might listen for the sounds of birds,
The crunch of leaves and stones underfoot as you walk along the forest path.
And as you attune your sense of hearing,
You hear the sound of a babbling brook.
And as you move forward on this pathway,
The babbling brook sound becomes a little louder.
As you come closer to the waterway,
You bend down and touch the water and rub it all over your hands.
And then you bring some up and you splash the water onto your face.
And you can feel dappled light moving through the leaves of the trees.
But the temperature around you is perfect,
Not too hot,
Not too cold.
And then you see a bench and it has a little headrest,
A little bolster made out of beautiful green moss.
And you decide to have a little lay down in this beautiful glade.
And as soon as you lay down on this bench,
Your body relaxes down,
Relaxes into the enoughness of this moment,
The enoughness of being alive and breathing.
And quietly,
Inwardly,
Say to yourself,
I am enough.
I am enough.
I am enough.
And then sense a gentle and loving presence begin to embrace you.
And begin to see your angels,
Your guides,
Your gods and your goddesses come forth into the glade.
And hear a chant coming from these beings.
And they are saying,
She is enough.
She is enough.
She is enough.
And there's one being within this group of beings that you have great connection with.
You connect very strongly with this,
This one God or goddess,
This one angel.
And now your eyes lock with this being's eyes.
And this being says,
You are enough.
You are enough.
You are enough.
And as you breathe here,
Feel the vibratory quality of the mantra,
I am enough.
She is enough.
You are enough.
Feel the enoughness of these bones,
These muscles,
This inspiration,
This visualization,
This breath,
These words.
And take a nice,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in through both of your nostrils.
And exhale softly and gently out of your mouth.
I am.
She is.
Enough.
You are enough.
And when you're ready to end your meditation,
Give great thanks to the forest glade,
Your guides,
Your angels,
The babbling brook,
The gods,
The goddesses,
The birdsong.
Namaste.
