So here we are.
Shall we meditate together?
Let's try.
So I think that's one of the things about meditating.
Sometimes it feels like we have to do all the things and have everything just right so that we can meditate.
And the thing is we can meditate anytime.
Meditation is resting back into ourselves right where we are.
Meditation is really being right here in all of life just as it is.
And so maybe we could try to do that together.
We could hold a mudra in our hands.
We could do all sorts of things with our hands.
But for a moment maybe just let your hands rest comfortably.
And then look around the space that you're in.
Maybe the room,
Maybe outside in the world.
And accept where you are.
Right here,
Right now.
And then feel your weight sink down into ground,
Into your chair,
Onto your bed,
Into wherever you're at right now.
And if it feels comfortable for you,
You could allow your eyes to close or you could have your eyes wide open.
And whatever you choose,
Let your attention begin to feel into the breath moving into your nostrils and back out.
Noticing the temperature of the air,
The sounds washing over you,
The taste in your mouth.
You might notice some aromas around you.
Breathe.
Feel it all.
Just be immersed in allowing.
Invite.
Allowing this moment to be.
Body breathing in.
Body breathing out.
Letting go of expectations,
Judgments.
Letting yourself be the human that you are.
Just as you are.
Not having to get anywhere.
Just allowing this moment.
Of sound,
Of sensation,
Of breath.
If thoughts come,
Let them come.
Invite everything in to this moment.
Allowing life to be.
With each breath in,
Allow every thought,
Every breath,
Every sensation to arise.
And with each breath out,
Let every thought,
Every out-breath,
Every sensation fall away.
Life breathing itself through you naturally.
Softening your muscles into now.
Softening your mind into now.
Imagining that just for these moments that we are practicing,
There's no future,
No past.
All there is,
Is this perfect,
Imperfect moment.
I allow life to be.
My arms,
My legs,
My belly,
My back,
My face,
My head.
Whole body breathing.
Whole body.
Another few breaths.
If you'd like to continue,
Press stop now.
If you're ready to move on with your day,
Very gently begin to deepen your breath.
Flutter your eyelids open and remain still.
Let the life that is you right now come here as it is,
As you are.
Only moving when you feel to.
Let life be the meditation.
Thank you.
Thank you for meditating with me.
Sometimes short and sweet hits the spot.
Have a beautiful day or night wherever you are.
Bye for now.
Namaste.
