Welcome to this new moon meditation.
I am Amanda and I will be your guide.
Find a comfortable way to receive this meditation.
You might be lying on your bed,
You could be seated in a chair,
However you'd like to arrange your body and then let the weight of your body drop down into support.
Letting go of muscular holding,
Efforting and feel for a moment here into absolutely being.
Let your eyes wander around the space that you find yourself to be in and then when and if you're ready allow your eyelids to gently close and turn your attention very naturally to following your breath as it moves into your body and as it returns back out.
Not controlling the breath in any way,
Allowing the pendulum of the breath to be as it is.
Sense sensations throughout the body,
The physical body,
The feet,
The hands,
The arms and the legs,
The back of the body and the front of the body,
The throat and the neck,
The face and the head.
Sense the inner body,
The organs,
The bones,
The muscles,
The outer body,
The skin,
The features and now let your body drop even more deeply into support.
Sensing new moon energy connecting with the energy of your body and your mind.
Notice with awareness how you're receiving this current new moon and if it feels okay you take a deeper breath than usual,
Opening up to this energy.
Exhaling long and slow and then seeing at the point between your eyebrows an image of the elephant god Ganesha and let's let Ganesha help us to remove any obstacles to receiving this energy by reciting the Ganesha mantra three times.

Now begin to allow your inhalation to sweep your attention from the heart up to the eyebrow center point.
On your exhale allowing your attention to drift from the eyebrow center point to the heart.
And so we inhale from the heart to the eyebrow center point,
Ajna and exhaling from the eyebrow center point,
The wisdom center,
That visionary center to the heart.
Open wide compassion,
Empathy,
The seat of our deepest and most heartfelt desires.
Continue this breath pattern,
Breathing in a way that feels easeful to you.
Inhaling up,
Exhaling back down to the heart,
Connecting heart,
Wisdom.
You might notice sensations,
Emotions,
Colors.
Let whatever arises come through.
And the next time you land with your exhalation in the heart space,
Feel your way through the entire chest area,
Front and back,
Out to the sides.
Feel what helps your heart beat strongly,
Desirously.
Feel into what you bring your heart to most deeply.
What is it that cracks your heart open wide?
And the next time you inhale,
Bring that energy up to the center point between the two eyebrows and allow your vision to expand.
Let it broaden and allow all visions to come now.
Sense the beating behind all of this.

Sense it merging into a vision of intention,
Breathing smoothly and allowing this intentional quality to spread physically,
Mentally,
Emotionally,
Energetically,
Spiritually.
Let all of the bodies receive your intention.

Take a moment to step outside of yourself here energetically.
Look at your body sitting,
Breathing,
Creating intention.
And from this witness perspective,
Say you are.
Yes,
You are.
Yes,
You are.
All of these things and so much more.
Sense your witness merging with your heart.
Sense your whole body expansive,
Open to possibility,
Completely curious as to your next open step.
Begin to deepen your breath and allow your eyelids to gently flutter open.
