Sometimes I give myself a hard time and lately, I've played with the thought of giving myself permission to invite in my own loving presence in order to support myself more fully. Thank you for joining me for this meditation. I don't have it all perfect. I am here with you.

Welcome to this practice of Yoga Nidra.

I am Amanda and I'll be guiding you here.

This is a practice for calling in the echo of loving presence,

Our own loving presence.

Can you think of times where it might have been helpful to give yourself permission to bathe in your own loving safe space?

That is the intention of this Yoga Nidra.

Find a comfortable position in which to receive the practice.

Maybe on your bed,

A chair,

Your yoga mat.

Make sure that your body temperature is nice and even.

And when you're ready,

Allow your eyelids to rest down.

Upper lids meeting lower lids.

Wiggle as much as you need to,

To find an impeccable level of comfort.

And then begin to sense your most natural rhythm of breathing.

Really feel the breath as it enters your body.

And sense the echo of your breathing,

Rippling out in all directions,

Through your physical body,

Your mental realm,

Your energetic system.

Sense the impact of one safe loving breath.

Get a nice slow smooth breath in through both of your nostrils.

And exhale out of your mouth.

Let's do that again.

Deep breath in through both of your nostrils.

And exhale again out of the mouth,

Letting go,

Letting go.

Letting your body drop down into the support beneath you.

Feel yourself being held in this time,

In this space.

Tune in to the point between your two eyebrows.

And allow your attention to drop down in a plumb line towards the center of your chest.

Here,

Let's feel our intention,

Our collective intention.

I now call in safe,

Loving presence.

Allow your awareness to move down to your right little toe.

And feel with all of your awareness,

The sensations of having a restful sleep.

Your right little toe.

Your right ring toe.

Your right middle toe.

Your right index toe.

Your right big toe.

The sole of your right foot.

The top of your right foot.

Your right ankle.

Upper leg.

Right hip.

Right side waist.

Right side of the chest.

Right shoulder.

Right upper arm.

Right forearm.

Right wrist.

The palm of the right hand.

The back of the right hand.

Right thumb.

Right index finger.

Right middle finger.

Right ring finger.

Right little finger.

Sense the right side of your body,

Fully as it is.

Allow your awareness to descend once more,

But this time to the left little toe.

Feel with all of your being,

Your left little toe.

Your left ring toe.

Your left middle toe.

Your left index toe.

Your left big toe.

The sole of the left foot.

The top of the left foot.

Left ankle.

Left lower leg.

Left knee.

Left upper leg.

Left hip.

Left side waist.

Left side of the chest.

Left shoulder.

Left upper arm.

Left elbow.

Left forearm.

Left wrist.

The palm of the left hand.

The back of the left hand.

Left thumb.

Left index finger.

Left middle finger.

Left ring finger.

Left little finger.

Sense the whole left side of the body,

Fully as it is.

And allow once more your attention to drift down to your two heels resting on the ground or the bed.

Your two heels.

Your two buttocks resting down into support.

Your sacrum.

The entire lower back.

The entire middle back.

The entire upper back.

The whole right side of the back.

The whole left side of the back.

The nape of your neck.

Your entire spine or column.

From the bottom all the way to the base of the skull.

Sense the back of your head.

The right side of your head,

Including your temple,

Your ear,

Your right TM jack.

The left side of your head,

Including your temple,

Your ear,

And your left TM jack.

The crown of the head.

The forehead.

The eyebrow center point.

Right eyebrow.

Left eyebrow.

Right eye.

Eye blue.

Left eye.

Eyeball.

Nose tip.

Right nostril.

Left nostril.

Upper lip.

Inside of the mouth.

Sense the whole tongue.

Sense the whole tongue.

Sense all of your teeth.

Your gums.

Your inner cheeks.

Your lower lip.

Chin tip.

Throat center.

Upper chest.

Center of the chest.

Solar plexus.

Navel center.

Lower abdomen.

Cubic bone.

Perineum.

Allow your awareness to drift from the perineum up through the core of the body,

Up through the core of the body,

Rising into the base of your heart.

Sense the echoes of your awareness washing through your heart.

And now feel the petals of your heart open to receive our intention.

Our collective,

Powerful intention.

I now offer myself loving,

Safe space.

I now offer myself loving,

Safe space.

Allow yourself to bathe in the echo of your own loving presence.

Allow yourself to bathe in the echo of your own loving presence.

When you're ready,

You begin to deepen your breath.
