I'm beginning with a few really deep breaths,
Finding a position that's comfortable,
Upright,
And dignified without pushing too hard.
Taking three deep breaths down to the bottom of the diaphragm,
And on each exhale,
Releasing any physical tension.
Taking three more deep breaths,
On each exhale,
Releasing any mental tension.
Three more deep breaths,
Releasing any emotional tension.
I'm beginning the process of letting go.
Letting go of thoughts as they come and go.
Letting go of sensations as they come and go.
Letting go of emotions as they come and go.
Letting go of our attachments to how we're practicing.
Letting go of fears.
Letting go of all phenomenon.
Knowing however far we're able to let go is as far as we need to let go.
And we bring to mind a beloved that has passed,
And we feel the love and the well wishes that we have for our beloved wherever they are on their soul's journey.
Wherever that soul may be in space,
Time,
May they feel these wishes of love and joy and peace.
Knowing that love never dies,
It connects across time and space.
We honor and feel this connection.
And from our beloved,
We also feel the well wishes of joy,
Peace,
And happiness.
And for a moment we become our beloved,
Sending those wishes to ourself from the other side.
And we become one,
Sending and receiving these well wishes of joy,
Happiness,
And peace.
And we let this gratitude for our beloved,
For this moment,
Shine as a light in our hearts.
This gold glowing orb suffuses the whole body,
Moving through the chest,
The shoulders,
The neck,
Arms,
Legs,
Toes,
Eyes,
Ears,
Every hair,
Every molecule is glowing with this light of well wishes.
And this light is so strong and so powerful,
It continues to grow to encompass the entire room,
The entire world,
And we see the entire universe alive with this glowing light of love.
May this practice free all beings from suffering and the causes of suffering.
May all beings know peace,
Love,
And joy.
