Welcome to today's stress relief meditation.

Before we begin,

Take a moment to turn off any distractions and find yourself in a comfortable position,

Maybe seated in a chair,

On the ground,

Or perhaps even lying down.

Once you've settled in,

Bring awareness to your breath.

Feel the natural rhythm of air moving effortlessly in and out of your body.

There's no need to change anything,

Just simply notice.

Easy breaths in,

And effortless breaths out.

With each inhale and exhale,

Feel the wheels in your mind begin to slow.

The noise,

The chatter,

Both soften,

Like ripples settling on a still lake.

Now bring your attention to your body.

Feel the support beneath you,

The gentle weight of your body resting on the surface.

Starting at the top of your head,

Scan downward,

Noticing any areas of tension that you might feel.

Now,

Feel the muscles in your face,

Your jaw,

Your neck,

Soften and melt like ice under the warm sun.

Notice your arms and your hands,

Releasing any tightness that you feel there.

Move to your upper back,

Your chest,

Your shoulders,

Letting them relax with each breath that you take.

Bring your awareness to your hips,

Your abdomen,

Your lower back,

Allowing them to loosen and to unwind.

Finally,

Notice your legs and your feet,

Feeling them sink into the earth beneath you,

Completely at ease.

In your mind's eye,

Imagine yourself standing on a tropical jungle beach,

Surrounded by lush,

Vibrant greenery.

The rhythmic hush of ocean waves drifts through the air,

Blending with the soft rustling of leaves.

The air is warm and slightly humid,

Wrapping around you like a gentle embrace.

A light breeze carries the scent of salt and blooming jungle flowers,

Brushing against your skin as you inhale deeply.

Before you,

A winding path invites you forward.

With each step,

You feel the damp,

Cool earth soft beneath your feet,

Grounding you in this present moment.

In the distance,

You notice the most charming outdoor shower,

An inviting sanctuary framed by smooth wooden beams nestled among swaying bamboo and lush tropical plants.

Warm water cascades from above,

Sending delicate wisps of steam curling into the dusky,

Cool air.

Sunlight filters through the jungle leaves,

Turning the droplets into shimmering gold.

This space is all yours.

You feel private,

Peaceful,

And safe here.

As you step into the shower,

Warmth envelops you,

Soothing every muscle,

Every inch of your being.

The water feels silky against your skin,

Streaming down in gentle waves,

Carrying the weight of everything you've been holding onto.

The stress,

The worries,

The mental chatter,

All dissolve,

Washing away into the earth.

You surrender to this moment,

Allowing yourself to simply be in this serene,

Tranquil oasis.

Gradually allow your awareness to drift back from the warmth of the water,

Back to this present moment.

Notice the gentle rhythm of your breath.

Feel the solid surface beneath you once again,

The support of the ground,

The steadiness of your body.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Reawakening movement.

Maybe you roll your shoulders,

Stretch your arms,

Or take a deep,

Refreshing breath in,

And slowly exhale out.

With each breath,

You become more present,

More aware of the space around you.

When you're ready,

Take one final,

Deep inhale,

And as you exhale,

Gently open your eyes,

Carrying this sense of calm and ease with you into the rest of your day.
