This relaxing lucid dream meditation uses several induction techniques that will help you drift off into lucid sleep. I originally created this recording for my own experiments with dreaming but after a successful experience, I decided to share it. The gentle sounds in the background are from my sound healing meditations. Deep gratitude to Stephen LaBerge, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, and Andrew Holecek for the amazing books on lucid dreaming that inspired this recording.

Welcome to this guided meditation for inducing lucid dreams.

Are you dreaming?

Get completely comfortable and begin to relax into present moment awareness.

Resolve that you will have a lucid dream tonight.

Say to yourself in your mind three times,

Tonight I will have a lucid dream.

To strengthen your resolve,

It's helpful to think about the benefits of lucid dreaming and how this practice might positively affect your life as well as the lives of others.

Picture this desire for positive change as a glowing golden seed in your heart.

Imagine this radiant seed filling up your heart with gratitude and love.

Watch this golden light pour out through your arms,

Up to your head,

Down the chest,

Belly,

Legs to the tips of your toes.

See your whole body filled with golden light.

Now see that light rippling out and filling the room.

Watch this light travel out into the world and beyond.

This healing light extends to the outer regions of the cosmos.

Imagine it passing the edges of your imagination.

Return your attention now to the sensation of the physical body lying on the bed.

Feeling the body sink deeper into relaxation.

You're letting go into a state of relaxed observation.

Notice the breath,

Watching each inhale and exhale.

Begin to count each breath cycle,

Breathing in one,

Breathing out,

This is a dream.

Breathing in two,

Breathing out,

This is a dream.

Breathing up to ten.

Are you dreaming?

Continue counting your breath.

What do you see?

What are you seeing in your mind's eye?

Become aware of the images behind the eyelids.

Is any imagery appearing?

Notice any thoughts that appear in the mind.

Watch the mind and see if patterns or images are manifesting.

This is a dream.

Continue to watch your mind and observe what it's thinking,

What it's seeing.

This is a dream.

With relaxed,

Loving attention,

Watching thoughts,

Each one without judgment,

Coming and going like a cloud.

This is a dream.

Continue to watch your thoughts and images in the space of your mind.

They are a dream.

We will now rotate our attention throughout the body,

Bringing your loving awareness to the center point between the eyebrows,

The third eye.

Center of the throat.

Become aware of the sensation at the center of the throat.

Right shoulder.

Right elbow.

Right wrist.

Right thumb.

Index finger.

Middle finger.

Ring finger.

Pinky.

Wrist.

Right elbow.

Right shoulder.

Bring your awareness to the center of the throat.

This is a dream.

Left shoulder.

Left elbow.

Left wrist.

Left thumb.

Left index finger.

Left middle finger.

Ring finger.

Pinky.

Back up the left wrist.

Left elbow.

Left shoulder.

Center of the throat.

Heart center.

This is a dream.

The right chest.

Heart center.

The left chest.

Heart center.

Now bring your awareness down to the navel center.

The pelvic center.

The right hip.

Right knee.

Right ankle.

Bring your awareness to the big toe of the right foot.

Second toe.

Middle toe.

Fourth toe.

Little toe.

Right ankle.

Right knee.

Right hip.

Pelvic center.

The left hip.

Left knee.

Left ankle.

The big toe of the left foot.

Second toe.

Middle toe.

Fourth toe.

Little toe of the left foot.

Left ankle.

Left knee.

Left hip.

The pelvic center.

This is a dream.

Up to the navel center.

The heart center at the center of the chest.

This is a dream.

Bring your awareness to the throat center.

Come up to the eyebrow center.

Feel the sensation of the whole right leg.

The whole left leg.

The whole right arm.

The whole left arm.

The whole head.

The whole backside of the body.

The whole front side of the body.

The whole body.

Feeling the whole body.

This is a dream.

The whole body.

Focus your attention now on the throat center,

Visualizing a blue pearl.

Radiating in this blue pearl,

The syllable,

Ah.

A blue pearl in the throat chakra.

A blue ah.

A blue pearl.

A blue ah in the throat chakra.

This is a dream.

Blue pearl.

Blue ah.

You are dreaming.

Now picture yourself in a dream.

Am I dreaming?

You ask.

To be sure,

You begin to hover off the ground and you fly into the sky.

See yourself flying through the air amongst the clouds.

Where do you want to go?

Feel the air on your skin.

Smell the clouds.

See the beautiful views.

Hear the sound of the wind.

Feel that you are flying through the sky.

You fly to a very special place,

Full of natural beauty.

Standing softly on the grass,

Your feet touch the ground.

And you begin to walk towards a small hut amongst the trees.

The hut looks inviting,

Peaceful,

Radiant.

And you sense something that you've been waiting for.

You walk in and receive a message that was meant for only you to hear or feel.

A message from your highest self.

Perhaps an animal or a sage or an ancestor awaits.

Perhaps a symbol or a thought.

Whatever it is,

Receive this message in whatever form it appears.

Let this message become a feeling of vibration.

Let go of content and go into the feeling tone.

Feel the whole body vibrating with this feeling tone as you drift into sleep.

Every in-breath,

You breathe in healing energy,

Nurturing this feeling tone which permeates your body.

Every out-breath,

You let go a little more into relaxation and peaceful awareness.

Letting go completely into relaxed awareness.

This is a dream.

You are dreaming.

You are dreaming.

You are dreaming.

You are dreaming.

You are dreaming.

You are dreaming.

You are dreaming.

Amazing and perfect length. I lucid dream often anyway and always wake up wishing it never ended. It’s the perfect start to my day when I can go back in my mind and reminisce the dream. Sometimes it’s so lucid that it is hard to determine the dream from reality and so have always wanted to figure out how to dream this way every night rather than only a few times a week. I’ve tried other meditations and they are so long that I fall asleep right away and don’t get into the meditation. This has been the one… and your voice is perfect! I can actually fall asleep flying over the African wilderness or through the mountains, etc… Thank you so much for gift. πŸ‘ŒπŸ½πŸ™πŸ½
