Grand rising,
Grand rising,
Grand rising.
What's going on insight timer?
I wanted to share some thoughts to remind you,
To hold you,
To acknowledge you,
That no matter what,
You do not have to,
If you don't want to,
To continuously rebrand yourself,
Change yourself for the benefit of others.
If this interests you,
Please keep listening.
Livaste,
The lover in me honors the lover in you.
I just wanted to drop a quick note about our need to consistently rebrand ourselves.
There's this urge to stand out.
There's this urge to be noticed,
This urge to stay relevant,
Urge to have to or feel the need to change and the urge to seek outside fulfillment.
At least that's how I see rebranding.
Now it makes sense in the business world and the business context that I live in.
As an entrepreneur,
You're always trying to stand out from your competition,
But as a human,
It's exhausting.
As a human,
I think we particularly see each other as competition.
I have to do better than the next person.
I have to be seen as better than I was the last time you saw me.
I can't show you that I'm not doing well.
There's this urge that you have to do something,
Switch something up.
How draining that is.
Part of it is alluring and interesting,
But after a while it loses its novelty.
It loses you.
You lose you.
I think one cure for that urge to stand out or be noticed,
Stay relevant,
To have to change to seeking outside fulfillment is just being yourself.
That's it.
Be yourself and do good.
So whenever those things pop up for you,
If you can ask yourself why,
Why do I have to change?
Why do I want to change?
Who am I changing for?
What will changing do for me in my life and for those around me?
What will changing do for me?
And if the reasons are positive or helpful or useful or meaningful,
Then by all means,
But if change is to prove or if change is to satisfy or change is to become a shell of yourself for someone to accept you,
Then the next rebranding will happen.
The next strategy session that you'll sit down and try to figure out,
Okay,
What's the next thing?
Who can I morph into?
Because that one wasn't working.
So maybe reframe from needing to rebrand yourself and sit with the question,
Who am I?
Why am I always changing?
Why do I always feel the need to change and change and change?
Because yes,
Change is the only thing that is constant.
Every day is different.
Every moment is different.
Every situation is different.
But if you lose yourself in the process,
Then that change is way too expensive.
So if you're currently in the middle of a self-rebrand,
A self-redesign,
I hope you find peace and love and joy and self-fulfillment in whatever that you find.
