Take a moment to arrive and just notice whatever brought you here.

Maybe part of you that knew it needed rest and just let that be here and be with it.

Notice the breath,

Easy and natural.

And noticing that awareness is already here.

Aware,

No need to do anything.

You might sense the mind still moving,

Thoughts drifting by,

That's okay.

Just let them be included in awareness like clouds floating through an open sky.

And now let this awareness move gently through the body,

Starting with the head,

That inner felt awareness moving behind the eyes,

Through the jaw,

The throat,

The neck,

Through the shoulders,

Into the arms and hands,

Just feeling a softening without doing anything.

And let that inner felt awareness keep moving down through the chest,

Back,

Belly,

The hips,

The legs,

Feet,

Toes.

Each breath,

A quiet settling.

Just feeling rest within movement and movement within rest.

There's nothing to hold on to here.

Just resting in what's already here.

As you start to return to the day,

See if this sense of rest can move with you in your next breath,

Your next step,

Your next conversation.

Because this resting mind isn't a place you go,

It's the home you return to again and again.
