Thank you for joining me.
My name is Nikki and I will be the one guiding you through this meditation of deep gratitude and loving awareness.
If you haven't done so already just come to find a comfortable seat of your choice.
Begin by allowing your eyes to close gently.
Tune into the body right where it is in this time and space.
Maybe take a few deep breaths to really settle into this space.
And then just start to observe the points of contact,
Noticing your sit bones on the floor,
Maybe a prop you're sitting on.
Notice where your hands are maybe resting in the lap or the palms on the thighs.
Feel the sensation of your clothing resting on the body.
Just become aware.
Becoming part of this direct experience as you begin to arrive here in this moment.
Now bring awareness to your breath.
Notice where you feel or connect with your breath naturally.
Maybe you observe the rising and the falling of the belly.
Maybe the expansion contraction of the lungs,
Feeling the chest lifting.
Maybe each breath flowing in and out of the nostrils.
What does the breath feel like?
Can you be with a breath from the beginning of the inhale all the way through to the end of the exhale?
See if you can allow yourself to be fully attentive,
Aware,
Still,
Silent,
And content.
Just as you are in this moment.
As if you are missing nothing.
Remaining as the witness as the observer.
Taking this opportunity and stillness and silence and think of something in your life that you are very grateful for.
How does that feel in the body?
Maybe there was sense of warmth washing over the heart.
Maybe you felt overwhelmed with love and joy.
Whatever feeling arise,
Just hold on to that as we move forward and bring awareness to other things in our life.
We can give gratitude to.
Mmm start to notice the belly rising and falling with each breath.
Giving gratitude to your breath as you inhale and as you exhale.
The fact that each of these breaths brings you life.
That in itself is a miracle.
Next,
Bringing awareness to your heart.
Maybe placing one hand on the heart and the other one on top and just feeling the heart beating.
Pulsing sensation.
Feeling it filled with love and compassion.
Expanding and sending that back out all around you.
Then bringing awareness to the eyes as you remain here with them closed.
See if you can soften them even more.
Notice if you see any colors,
New visions.
Giving deep gratitude to this beautiful gift that allows us to see so many incredible colors in life.
Allows us to see smiles of others.
The sunrise and set.
The light of the moon casting down on us.
To see the beauty of our self as we look into a mirror.
And then just starting to bring awareness of sounds you hear around you.
Not attaching any names or stories to them just noticing these sounds.
Sim,
What do you hear?
Give gratitude to the ability to experience sound.
To experience the joy of music,
Laughter.
Hearing the voice of loved ones.
Beautiful sounds of nature.
Birds chirping.
The wind brushing the trees.
Fire crackling and the silence which is so profound.
Next fine-tuning the awareness into the nostrils feeling each inhale and exhale coming in,
Going out.
Giving deep gratitude to our beautiful nose which is an incredible gift in which we can smell good food cooking.
You can smell the beautiful scent of flowers,
The ocean breeze,
The rain.
And then just gently licking the lips,
Bringing awareness to your lips,
To your mouth,
The taste nourishes your incredible body.
Your lips which speak of kindness and compassion to yourself and others.
And just bringing awareness to your hands resting as they are.
These hands which learn to write,
To share our voice and our words.
That cook and create.
To show love and affection and that open to share with others.
And bringing awareness to your feet and allow you to walk gracefully upon Mother Earth and experience all the beauty she has to offer.
Bring gratitude to your abundance,
To your expansion,
To your evolution,
Your shifts in perspective,
The ebb and flow,
The dark and light.
Love your ability to see growth and potential in every moment.
Honor you for who you are,
The purity and the innate wisdom of the heart.
Breathe into this space.
Feel it expand with every breath.
Feel a warmth washed over the heart as you continue to deepen the awareness.
Repeat to yourself,
I am loving awareness.
I am loving awareness.
I am loving awareness.
This unconditional love that is within you,
Surrounding you,
And always part of you.
Trusting and knowing that when you take a moment to simply slow down,
To connect with your body,
With your breath,
Will arrive in this present moment,
In this deep inner awareness,
In this space of love,
Contentment,
Wholeness.
Be grateful.
Be loving awareness.
If you wish to stay longer,

Very mindfully begin to open eyes.
