Familiar state.
Listen.
Be still.
Relax.
Relax the body.
Empty your mind.
Listen.
Perhaps you catch a hint of an ancient state of being.
Not quite forgotten,
Dim perhaps,
And yet not altogether unfamiliar.
Like a song whose name is long forgotten,
The circumstances in which you heard this song completely unremembered.
The whole song has not stayed with you,
But just a little wisp of melody.
Not attached to a person or a place or anything particular,
But you remember from just this little part how lovely was the song,
How wonderful the setting where you heard it,
And how you loved those who were there and listened with you.
The notes of this song are nothing,
Yet you have kept them with you.
Not for themselves,
But as a soft reminder of what would make you weep if you remembered how important this song was to you.
You could remember,
But you are afraid.
You believe that you would lose the world you have learned since then,
And yet you know that nothing in the world you have learned is half so dear as this song.
Listen and see if you remember an ancient song you knew so long ago.
An ancient song you held more dear than any melody you have taught yourself to cherish since.
You are floating peacefully,
Free from the weight of your body.
Beyond your physical form,
Beyond the sun and the stars,
Past everything you have ever seen,
There is a realm that feels both mysterious and deeply familiar.
Here,
Before you,
An arc of golden light appears.
It shimmers with a gentle brilliance,
Stretching out as far as your vision can reach.
As you gaze at this golden arc,
Notice how it expands,
Curving gracefully,
Until it forms a great and shining circle.
The circle is radiant.
The light of the circle is warm and inviting.
This light beckons you closer.
With each breath,
The circle grows brighter and brighter.
As it grows,
The golden light fills the entire space before you.
The edges of the circle begin to dissolve.
The circle has no boundaries now,
Just pure luminous presence.
The light expands,
Flowing outward in every direction,
Covering everything in its path.
Golden light extends to infinity,
Forever shining with no break.
Everything that is within this golden expanse is joined in perfect continuity.
There is no separation.
There is no division.
There is only unity.
Merge with this light.
Become a part of this infinite loving presence.
There is nowhere that this light is not.
This golden light envelops all things,
Encompasses all beings,
Contains all thoughts.
Resting in this boundless golden light,
We sense its reassurance,
We sense its comfort.
We are embraced by the universe,
A sign of divine love and support.
We are safe.
We are cherished.
We are wholly at peace within this eternal light.
This light fills every part of your awareness.
Sense it illuminating your heart,
Mind,
Dissolving any tension or fear.
Remember,
This is our true home.
This is our ancient familiar state.
This is where we all are joined with the whole of creation in perfect love and unity.
Continue in this golden light as its warmth and its brilliance restores a sense of peace and belonging.

This is the vision of the child of God,
Whom I know well.
Here is the memory of what I really am.
I am a part of this light with all of it within me.
This light is joined to all as surely as all is joined in me.
I accept the vision that shows me this and not.
I know this ancient song and know it well.
Nothing will ever be as valuable to me as is this ancient hymn of love that the children of God sing to their father still.
Now I can see for that same song I sing in honor of my creator.
My creator gives praise to myself as well.
The blindness that I made will not withstand the memory of this song.
What is a miracle but this remembering?
And who is there in whom this memory lies not?
The light in me awakens the light in all.
When I see this light in my brother,
When I see this light in my sister,
I am remembering this song for all of us.
Merge with this light.
Become a part of this infinite loving presence.
There is nowhere that this light is not.
Remember this is our true home.
This is our ancient familiar state.
This is where we all are joined with the whole of creation in perfect love and unity.
We are joined with the whole of creation.
This is our true home.
Perfect love.
This is our true home.
Unity.
Now we will return to our regular waking state of thoughts,
Feelings,
And actions to time and space.
And as we do this,
We know that our personality has made progress.
In developing a working relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Our higher self.
The conscious presence.
Our source.
Take a few deep breaths to help establish the waking state.
Return.
Carrying the memory and comfort of the Ark of Golden Light.
Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
