Transcript

Welcome to this short guided meditation.

Find a comfortable position,

Sitting or lying down,

Whatever feels best for you.

Let your body settle.

Take a deep breath in and a slow breath out.

With each breath just allowing yourself to arrive here in this moment.

Now imagine yourself stepping onto the beach in the quiet of early morning.

The sky is painted with soft shades of pink and gold as the first light of sunrise stretches across the horizon.

You begin to walk slowly along the shoreline.

The sand is cool beneath your feet and each step leaves a gentle imprint soon softened by the incoming tide.

The waves move in and out with steady rhythm.

Their sound both powerful and soothing.

Seabirds call overhead welcoming the day with their own song.

As you breathe in notice the fresh salt air filling your lungs.

And as you breathe out feel the night slip away making space for this new day to begin.

With each inhale feel the ocean offering you fresh energy.

Like the tide rolling in steady and full of life.

With each exhale imagine yourself softening into trust.

Knowing this day will unfold moment by moment and that you can meet it with calm presence.

The rhythm of the unhurried.

Feel the ocean strength moving into you now.

A quiet confidence.

A sense of being supported.

A reminder that you are part of something vast and steady.

Let this strength gather within you ready to carry into your day.

Keep walking slowly along the shoreline.

Notice the sunlight glittering on the water's surface.

Notice the colours shifting in the sky from soft pinks to brighter golds as the day awakens around you.

Each step feels lighter.

Each breath feels steadier.

With every moment you feel more grounded,

More connected,

More alive.

After a while you find a quiet place to pause.

Perhaps a smooth rock to sit on or simply the soft sand beneath you.

As you rest take a deep breath in and let it out slowly.

Imagine the oceans energy flowing into you.

Clear,

Fresh,

Renewing.

It feels every corner of your body.

Awakening what feels tired and lifting what feels heavy.

Reminding you that you belong to this steady rhythm of life.

You are part of something wider.

You are connected.

You are supported.

Stay here for a few more breaths.

Just breathing with the ocean.

Just letting yourself be held by this moment.

And when you feel ready gently begin to return to your body.

Notice the weight of where you are sitting or lying.

Notice the rise and fall of your own breath.

When you're ready slowly open your eyes.

Carry this calm with you like the tide that always returns.

Like the sunrise that always comes.
