"Today I learn the law of love; that what I give my brother is my gift to me." This lesson teaches that the law of love is based on unity and reciprocity, emphasizing that what we give to others, we ultimately give to ourselves. It encourages us to practice generosity and forgiveness, recognizing that these actions enrich our own lives and bring us closer to God. By forgiving our brothers and sisters, we receive gifts beyond earthly value, filling our minds with Heaven's treasures, which are the only real riches. A Course in Miracles,

Lesson 344 Today I learn the law of love,

That what I give my brother or sister is my gift to me.

The law of love is your law,

Father,

Not mine.

I have not understood what giving means.

I thought to save what I desired for myself,

Alone.

Father,

As I looked upon the treasure that I thought I had,

I found an empty place where nothing ever was,

Or is,

Or will be.

Who can share a dream?

What can an illusion offer me?

The one whom I forgive will give me gifts beyond the worth of anything on earth.

Father,

Let my forgiven brothers and sisters fill my store with heaven's treasures,

Which alone are real.

Father,

Thus is the law of love fulfilled,

As your child arises and returns to you.

What I give is my gift to me.

How near we are to one another as we go to God.

How near is God to us.

How close is the ending of the dream of sin.

How close is the redemption of the child of God.

Thus is the law of love fulfilled,

As your child arises and returns to you.

That what I give is my gift to me.

How near we are to one another as we go to God.

How close is the ending of the dream of sin.

How close is the redemption of the child of God.

That what I give my brother or sister is my gift to me.

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
