ACIM Lesson 324 Prayer

"I merely follow, for I would not lead."

A Course in Miracles Lesson 324 I merely follow,

For I would not lead.

Father,

You are the one who gave the plan for my salvation to me.

You have set the way I am to go.

You have set the role I am to take.

Father,

You have set every step in my appointed path.

I cannot lose the way,

But I can choose to wander off a while and then return.

Father,

Your loving voice will always call me back.

Father,

Your loving voice will always guide my feet correctly.

All my brothers and my sisters can follow in the way I lead them.

And,

Father,

I merely follow in the way to you as you direct me and would have me go.

So,

Let us follow one who knows the way.

We need not hesitate,

And we cannot stray,

Except an instant from our Father's loving hand.

We walk together,

For we follow him.

It is God who makes the ending sure.

It is God that guarantees a safe return home.

I merely follow,

For I would not lead.

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
