ACIM Lesson 316 Prayer

"All gifts I give my brothers are my own."
This lesson emphasizes that every gift we give to others is also a gift to ourselves, as we are all connected in unity. The act of giving, particularly the gift of forgiveness, allows us to release past mistakes and free ourselves from guilt and shame. By extending forgiveness and love to others, we not only bless them but also receive these blessings ourselves, recognizing our shared identity and oneness with all.

A Course in Miracles,

Lesson 316.

All gifts I give to my brothers and sisters are my own,

As every gift my brothers and sisters give is mine,

So every gift I give belongs to me.

Each gift allows a past mistake to go and leave no shadow on the holy mind my Father loves.

My Father's grace is given to me in every gift a brother or sister has received throughout all time and past all time as well.

My treasure house is full,

Angels watch its open doors,

So that not one gift is lost,

So that only more gifts are added.

Let me come to where my treasures are,

Let me enter where I am truly welcome and at home among the gifts that God has given me.

Father,

I would accept your gifts today.

Father,

I do not recognize your gifts.

Father,

I trust that you who gave these gifts will provide the means by which I can behold them.

Father,

I trust you will provide the means by which I will see the worth of your gifts.

Father,

I trust you will provide the means by which I will cherish only the gifts as what I want.

All gifts I give to my brothers and sisters are my own.

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
