"The holy Christ is born in me today."
This lesson emphasizes the recognition and awakening of our true identity as Christ within ourselves. It encourages us to welcome and embrace our divine nature, letting go of the "evil self" we have made through ego-based perceptions. A Course in Miracles, Lesson 303. The Holy Christ is born in me today. Watch with me, Angels. Watch with me today. Let all of God's holy thoughts surround me. Let all of God's holy thoughts be still with me while heaven's child is born. Let earthly sounds be quiet. Let the earthly sights, To which I am accustomed, Disappear. Let Christ be welcomed where He is at home. Let Christ hear the sounds He understands. Let Christ see only the sights that show His Father's love. Let Christ no longer be a stranger here, For Christ is born again in me today. Your child, My higher self, Is welcome, Father. Your child has come to save me from the evil self that I made. Your child is the higher self that You have given me. My higher self is what I really am in truth. Father, My higher self is the child You love above all things. Father, My higher self is my true self as You created me. It is not Christ that can be crucified. Father, I am safe in Your arms. Let me receive Your child, My higher self. The Holy Christ is born in me today. Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.
