"And God Himself shall wipe away all tears." This lesson teaches that our tears and suffering come from our judgments, not from external events or circumstances. It emphasizes that we cannot weep, suffer pain, or feel abandoned unless we judge the world and our experiences. The lesson encourages us to see God's world instead of our own false perceptions, recognizing that God's world is happy and joyful. By relinquishing our judgments and embracing forgiveness, we can release ourselves from distorted perceptions and experience the peace and joy of God's world All quotes are from A Course in Miracles, copyright ©2007, Third Edition used with permission from the publisher and copyright holder, the Foundation for Inner Peace, 448 Ignacio Blvd., #306, Novato, CA 94949.

A Course in Miracles,

Lesson 301,

And God Himself Shall Wipe Away All Tears Father,

Unless I judge,

I cannot weep.

Unless I judge,

I cannot suffer pain.

Unless I judge,

I cannot feel I am abandoned or unneeded in the world.

Father,

This world is my home,

Because I judge it not.

It is only what You will.

Let me today behold the world uncondemned.

Through happy eyes,

Forgiveness has released from all distortion.

Father,

Let me see Your world instead of mine.

Father,

When I see Your world,

All the tears I shed will be forgotten.

The source of my tears will be gone.

Father,

I will not judge Your world today.

God's world is happy.

Those who look on God's world can only add their joy to it and bless it as a cause of further joy in them.

We wept because we did not understand.

We have learned the world we saw was false.

We will look upon God's world today.

Father,

Unless I judge,

I cannot suffer pain.

God's world,

Today,

I wept because I did not understand.

I have learned the world I saw was false.

I will look upon God's world today.

Today,

God himself shall wipe away all tears.

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
