ACIM Lesson 298 Prayer

"I love You, Father, and I love Your Son."

This lesson emphasizes the transformative power of gratitude and love in overcoming fear and restoring us to our true reality. By embracing forgiveness, we remove the barriers that obscure our awareness of love for God and His Child, which includes all of creation. We are encouraged to surrender our attachment to illusions, such as fear and judgment, and instead accept the gifts of peace and sanctuary that God offers.

The Course in Miracles Lesson 298 I love you, Father, And I love your son. My gratitude permits my love to be accepted without fear. Thus am I restored to my reality at last. All that intruded on my holy sight, Forgiveness takes away. I draw near to the end of senseless journeys, Mad careers, And artificial values. I accept, Instead, What God establishes as mine. Sure that in what God establishes for me, In that alone I will be saved. Sure that I go through fear to meet my love. Father, I come to you today because I would not follow any way but yours. Father, You are beside me. Certain is your way. Father, I am grateful for your holy gifts of certain sanctuary and escape from everything that would obscure my love for God my Father and his holy child. I love you, Father, And I love your holy child. I am as you created me. Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.
