"Forgiveness is the only gift I give."

This lesson emphasizes that forgiveness is the key to salvation, as it allows us to release illusions and return to love. Forgiveness is not only a gift we give to others but also a gift we give to ourselves, as everything we extend outward is reflected back to us. By seeing past illusions and recognizing the innocence in others, we free ourselves from guilt and judgment.

Forgiveness is the only gift I give,

Because it's the only gift I want.

Everything I give,

I give to myself.

This is salvation's simple formula.

And I,

Who would be saved,

Would make salvation mine.

Everything I give,

I give to myself.

This is to be the way I live within a world that needs salvation.

Everything I give,

I give to myself.

This is the formula that will save the world,

As I accept atonement for myself.

Father,

How certain are your ways,

How sure their final outcome,

And how faithfully and is every step in my salvation set already and accomplished by your grace.

Thanks be to you,

Father,

For your eternal gifts,

And thanks to you,

Father,

For my identity.

Forgiveness is the only gift I give.

Father,

Thanks to you for my identity.

I am as you created me.

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
