A Course in Miracles Lesson 294 My body is a wholly neutral thing.
I am a child of God.
Can I be another thing as well?
Did God create the mortal and corruptible?
What use has God's beloved child for what must die?
A neutral thing does not see death,
For thoughts of fear are not invested in a neutral thing,
Nor is a mockery of love bestowed upon a neutral thing.
The body's neutrality protects it while it has a use.
Afterwards,
The neutral thing,
Our body,
Is laid aside.
Our body is not sick,
Is not old,
Is not hurt.
Our body is only functionless,
It is only unneeded and cast off.
Let me not see my body more than this today.
My body is of service for a while,
And fit to serve to keep its usefulness while it can serve,
Then to be replaced for a greater good.
Father cannot be your child.
What is not created cannot be sinful.
What is not created cannot be sinless.
What is not created can be neither good nor bad.
Father,
Let me then use this dream to help your plan,
The plan that we awaken from all dreams that we have made.
I am a child of God.

My body is a wholly neutral thing.
I am as you created me.
Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God.
