ACIM Lesson 282 Prayer

"I will not be afraid of love today."
This lesson emphasizes that our true nature is love, as we are created by God whose Name is Love. It encourages us to accept ourselves as God created us, recognizing our true Identity as the Child He loves. The lesson teaches that fear is simply a mistake, a false name we have given ourselves, and that we can choose to recognize the truth of our being instead. By affirming that we will not be afraid of love, we are making the decision to awaken from dreams of death and insanity, and to embrace the reality of our oneness with God and all creation.
