What limits can I lay upon God's Child? This lesson emphasizes that God's Child is inherently limitless and free, as created by God. It reminds us that any perceived limitations or imprisonment we place on ourselves or others are merely illusions, not truth. The lesson encourages us to honor the limitless nature of every Child of God, recognizing that no Thought of God has left Its Father's Mind or is limited in any way. By giving this honor to others, we find our own freedom and recognize the Christ in ourselves and everyone. A Course in Miracles Lesson 280 What limits can I lay upon God's Son?

Those whom God created limitless are free.

I can invent imprisonment for them,

But only in illusions,

Not in truth.

No thought of God has left its Father's mind.

No thought of God is limited at all.

No thought of God but is forever pure.

Can I lay limits on the children of God,

Whose Father willed that they be limitless?

Can I lay limits on the children of God,

Whose Father willed that they be like Himself,

In freedom and in love?

Father,

Today let me give honor to Your children,

For this way alone I find the way to You.

Father,

I lay no limits on the children You love.

I lay no limits on the children You created limitless.

Father,

The honor that I give to Your children is Yours.

What is Yours belongs to me as well.

Can I lay limits on the children of God,

Whose Father willed that they be limitless?

Can I lay limits on the children of God,

Whose Father willed that they be like Himself,

In freedom and in love?

What limits can I lay upon God's children?

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
