A Course in Miracles Lesson 248 Whatever suffers is not part of me.
I have disowned the truth.
Now let me be as faithful in disowning falsity.
Whatever suffers is not part of me.
What grieves is not myself.
What is in pain is but illusion in my mind.
What dies was never living in reality.
What dies only does mock the truth about myself.
Now I disown self-concepts.
Now I disown deceits and lies about the holy children of God.
Now I am ready to accept all of the children back as God created them and as God is.
Father,
My ancient love for you returns.
Father,
My ancient love for you lets me love your child again.
Father,
I am as you created me.
Father,
Now is your love remembered and my own.
Father,
Now I understand that your love and my love are one.
I have disowned the truth.

Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God.
