"I give my life to God to guide today."

A Course in Miracles Lesson 233 I give my life to God to guide today Father, I give you all my thoughts today I would have none of mine In place of my thoughts, Give me your own thoughts Father, I give you all my acts as well That I may do your will instead of seeking goals which cannot be obtained Instead of wasting time in vain imaginings Father, Today I come to you Father, Today I will step back and merely follow you Father, You be the guide and I the follower I am the follower Who questions not the wisdom of the infinite I am the follower Who questions not the love whose tenderness I cannot comprehend Father, I am the follower Who questions not the love which is your perfect gift to me Today we have one guide to lead us on As we walk together we will give this day to our Father With no reserve at all This is our Father's day And so it is a day of countless gifts and mercies unto us I give my life to God to guide today Nothing real can be threatened Nothing unreal exists Herein lies the peace of God
