This review will shorten time immeasurably if we keep in mind that this remains our goal, and as we practice it is this to which we are approaching. Let us raise our hearts from dust to life, as we remember this is promised to us, and that this course was sent to open up the path of light to us, and teach us, step by step, how to return to the eternal Self we thought we lost.

Welcome to Active Meditation, A Course in Miracles, Lesson 173. Review, Lesson 156. I walk with God in perfect holiness. God is love and therefore so am I. Steady our feet, Father. Let our doubts be quiet. Let our holy minds be still and speak to us. Lead our practicing. We will listen to your word and make it ours. We accept the word you offer us to unify our practicing. As we review the thoughts that you have given us in these lessons. God is love and therefore so am I. Review, Lesson 156. I walk with God in perfect holiness. The basic thought so often mentioned in the text of A Course in Miracles is ideas leave not their source. If this is true, How can you be apart from God? How could you walk the world alone and separate from your source? Now ask yourself, Who walks with me? Who walks with me? This question should be asked a thousand times a day until certainty has ended doubting and established peace. We cannot walk the world apart from God. Because we could not be without God. God is what our life is. Where we are, God is. There is one life. That life we share with God. Nothing can be apart from God and live. We cannot be apart from our source. There is a light in us which cannot die. There is a light in us whose presence is so holy that the world is sanctified because of us. This light in us is what the universe longs to behold. All living things are still before us. For all living things recognize who walks with us. The light we carry is the light in all living things. And thus they see in each of us their holiness. Ask yourself, Who walks with me? As we ask this question a thousand times today and every day, We let doubting cease. We let peace be established. God speaks for you in answering your question. Say to yourself, Say in your mind, I walk with God in perfect holiness. I light the world. I light my mind. I light all the minds which God created, One with me. I walk with God in perfect holiness. I light the world. I light my mind. I light all the minds which God created, One with me. In my defenselessness, My safety lies. I walk with God in perfect holiness. Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.
