God is love,
And therefore so am I.
Review Lesson 153.
In my defenselessness,
My safety lies.
For this review,
The theme is our defenselessness.
We clothe ourselves in it as we meet the day.
We rise up,
Strong in Christ,
And let our weakness disappear.
We remember that the strength of Christ abides in us.
We remind ourselves that God remains beside us through the day,
And never leaves our weakness unsupported by his strength.
We call upon God's strength each time we feel the threat of our defenses undermine our certainty of purpose.
At this moment,
We will pause as God tells us,
I am here.
Let's sit quietly,
Waiting on God,
Listening for God's voice.
To learn what God would have us do,
I'll be silent.
Sit quietly,
Waiting on God,
Listening for God's voice.
Spend a few moments in gratitude,
Thanking God for all the gifts he has given you.
In time,
With practice,
You will never cease to think of God,
And hear his loving voice guiding your footsteps into quiet ways,
Where you will walk in true defenselessness.
For you will know that heaven goes with you.
Ponder on this.
God tells us,
I am here.
In time,
With practice,

And therefore,
So am I.
I am here.
In my defenselessness,
My safety lies.
Steady our feet,
Father.
Let our doubts be quiet.
Let our holy minds be still,
And speak to us.
We have no words to give to you.
We will listen to your word,
And make it ours.
Guide our practicing,
As does a father lead a little child along the way they do not understand.
Yet do they follow,
Sure that they are safe,
Because their father leads the way for them.
So do we bring our practicing to you.
If we stumble,
We know you will raise us up.
If we forget the way,
We count upon your sure remembering.
If we wander off,
We know you will not forget to call us back.
Quicken our footsteps now,
That we may walk more certainly and quickly unto you.
We accept the word you offer us,
To unify our practicing,
As we review the thoughts that you have given us in these lessons.
God is love,
And therefore,
So am I.
Review lesson 154.
I am among the ministers of God.
It is through God's ability to hear one voice,
Which is his own,
That you become aware at last.
There is one voice in you,
And that one voice appoints your function and relays it to you,
Giving you the strength to understand it,
Giving you the strength to do what it entails,
Giving you the strength to succeed in everything you do that is related to your function.
God has joined you in this,
And thus,
Your higher self becomes God's messenger of unity with him.
Say to yourself,
Say,
In your mind,
I will not recognize what I receive until I give it.
Say,
I am among the ministers of God.
I am grateful that I have the means by which to recognize that I am free.
Ponder on this.

The world recedes as we light up our minds,
And we realize these holy words are true.
They are the message sent to us today from our creator.
For as we prove that we accept no will we do not share,
Our many gifts from our creator will spring to our sight,
And will leap into our hands,
And we will recognize what we have received.
I will not recognize what I receive until I give it.
I am grateful that I have the means by which to recognize that I am free.
I am among the ministers of God.

My safety lies.
Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God.
